This was one of the worst eating out experiences I’ve ever had.

The staff was extremely hostile and unwelcoming while the food was overpriced and tasteless.

This was my first time in Sonic drive-in chains so I tried to advise with the waiter/cashier who was taking my order. Accepting his recommendation I ordered #5 meal combo from the menu. Let alone that the already made old burger was priced at $8,5 as a separate item, and the combo was bumping this number to a whooping $12, the final price I was charged somehow came to add up to an unthinkable & unbelievable $17. I believe in other circumstances I would have considered twice before spending $17 in a fast food chain for a breakfast meal, however, the staff hostility seemed almost intentionally designed and put in place to intimidate the customers and pressure them into placing an order as fast and rushed as possible.

In an attempt to ignore this unpleasant situation and make the best of the rest of my meal experiences I sat by the window and started working on my meal. Shortly, I realized that I forgot to inquire the password for the Wi-Fi, and, upon checking, confirmed that all of the available Wi-Fi-s (of which 3 involved the name of the chain — “sonic”) were password-protected.

Long story short, the waiter not only claimed to not know the Wi-Fi password, but also came forward when I was tried to address any other person working there who could potentially help me with my seemingly simple request. This waiter rushed to answer for the rest of the team claiming as if nobody else present knows the password to the Wi-Fi either. I asked whether there was no possible way to find out. The answer was cut and dry “no.” I’ll politely thanked him and went back to my seat.

Before leaving I tried to use the restroom; unsurprisingly, the restrooms had hostile signs abt there not being any public restrooms available nothing that the restrooms are for customers who have already placed their orders. I approached the guy one last time asking him if he wouldn’t mind unlocking the restroom door so I could use it. He unwillingly came and unlocked the restroom door.

Overall… what… ‍

Sonic chain is known for having bigger chicken tenders than the usual fast food guys.. so why is it when I ordered a 3 PC with fries they gonna give me 4 of the tiniest, driest, most burnt nubs of a chicken tenders???? The toast is stuck to the top of paper box. The fries are not even seasoned. When did you have to request salt on the fries. This is the worst sonic experience I’ve ever had. I will never go to this location again.

That girl that worked there going to tell me I need exact money to purchase something or a debit card. The other woman that was waiting on me saw me with the $20 bill say something to her in Spanish, which she didn’t supposed to do that both of them are going to get fired and I’m gonna make sure of that.

I ordered food on the mobile app this morning to be picked up at 7:26. When I arrived, the food was not ready. The employee asked my name, then proceeded to access the order looking at the screen & the ticket. I waited 10 minutes to receive order my order in which did not have all the items in the bag.. I asked the employee about my other items, she pointed to my bag, and the she walked to the back of the store. I waited until she returned, she looked at me and said “WHAT”. I asked about my items again. Another customer that was waiting, spoke in Spanish trying to assist me but she still didn’t comprehend. She gave me items, that I didn’t ask for… I left the store because, I was going to be late waiting for work. Very poor customer service and I’m highly disappointed with Sonic and this particular employee.

I ordered online so no feedback about the order service, but my food was less than satisfactory. Everything was ready when we picked it up, but that’s probably because the fries were made hours before. What’s more annoying is I tipped through the app because I work in the service industry and I know pay sucks. It’s not too much to ask for at least moderately fresh food.

Some days you think to yourself, I want to eat something. But you don’t want to spend $14-15 dollars for a meal at a normal restaurant. Contrary to its name, there is no drive-in here and you can eat here or pick up.

You think to yourself, I want to spend <$5 for a cheap item, kinda like Taco Bell. Well, there is a $2/3/4 menu here also and I got a chicken slinger. Size was small but surprisingly not bad. However, you’ll always get hit with the “was it really worth it” feelings afterwards. Great to get something cheap after the gym as it’s close by.

Coupons/deals are pretty good sometimes. One day I may stop eating here, but that day isn’t today.

Fries were good but table was dirty. Not a traditional Sonic setup.

I’ve visited this Sonic about ten times in the last two weeks, and their service is very inconsistent. I usually order drinks through the app, but it’s a hit or miss whether my order is correct. The one time I ordered food, they were out of the item I wanted and couldn’t provide a refund on the spot—I had to contact customer service to resolve it. This level of service is frustrating and needs improvement.

We walked in, and the guy at the cash register stared us down like we ruined his night. He doesn’t say a word. We asked if we could order, and he just stares at us.
Bathrooms are blocked off. We asked if we could use them but they said they are closed for the night. It is only 7:30pm.
Food comes out and it is cold. The mozzarella sticks are room temperature and hard. The burger was okay. We asked for new mozzarella sticks. The 2nd batch had 2 melted ones and the rest were hard. Maybe an indication the cheese is bad?

If you knew better you do better. I’m a BUS DRIVER who can bring you customers but can’t use the bathroom unless I purchase something. Please change your policy. The food looked cold and old.
