My family of four visited Sonic in Edison during a day trip. It was on a Tuesday a little after 1 pm, so it wasn’t very busy. We noticed that quite a few of the order screens are out of order. We found one that worked near the restroom since we all had to have a potty break after our drive. I like that they have single person facilities but the doors are quite heavy and despite being handicapped accessible the way to the bathroom is not wheelchair friendly since you have to get up on the sidewalk and then maneuver a heavy door followed by another heavy door. Ordering was easy since we just ordered from the car. My husband was bummed that they did not have watermelon as a flavor option for slushes or any other drinks. I was a bit sad that they were out of onion rings since I can’t eat fries or tots. The footlong conies were a hit with my guys, though. The server was wearing rollerskates, which was nostalgic and impressive. The food was hot, fresh, and good. The mango slush was more ice than anything else, though, and I ended up wasting most of it since I couldn’t drink it. Overall, it was still a good lunch stop.

I ordered food (cheeseburger) it was cold and gotten sick from eating. Tried whole menu. Its hit or miss. I guess it depends on who’s making the food. The drinks and shakes on the other hand are 10star all the way. Service is okay and sonic location itself looking a little rundown but shakes and drinks are the best.

It’s ok it wouldn’t be my go to destination for fast food it’s more like if nothing else is open at the time. Service was good the staff was pleasant however the food was ok. It was hot a fresh don’t get me wrong but it’s something missing. What was very good was there lemonade amazing strawberry.

Pulled into drive thru during hours and was told they are not taking any more orders for the night as they were closed. They didn’t close for another 15 minutes. Just go to McDonald’s, shake shack, or wawa.

I waited 15 minutes for them to open at 9:30 because I don’t get sonic very often. I ordered two foot-long chili cheese Coney and it comes up that they are not available at this location at this time. Very disappointing. So I guess I’m gonna have to suffer through their a super when I’m a burrito. It won’t be the same as the chili cheese coneys but hopefully it’s filling.

It was an excellent experience to come here a lot all season, if only the service hasn’t gotten slower this time around over the past few years. I went a few times for someone to take my order and… nothing. I can get faster service right down the road to McDonald’s and have a shake with a topped sundae at a cheaper price with nice workers…

The majority of the slots are out of order forcing drive thru to move a little quicker. In a rush, I would not recommend it, but food was hot and accurate.

The food size was a decent proportion that wouldn’t make it look gorging but rather sizably perfect , the food itself was not greasy and tasted great, and the milkshakes were very devine, but just a wee bit thick to consume. The only real two downsides was that they had a rude tone when asking our orders on the talk box and forgot to not add pickles when we asked for no pickles.

Not sure what’s going on with this place but the staff does ignore customers and work at a pace as fast as a snail on Xanax. Waited 20 minutes at the drive through window and there was barely any cars. They seem to be chillin and talking in there, partying or something. Anywho the big guy with the blonde hair is nice and professional gave me extra jalapeño poppers for the wait time. The rest need management and discipline. Don’t bother with fast food anyways, cook at home lazy bones.
