I had never been to sonic before but I feel like I did it wrong.
I got a burger which was okay, I did like the fries a lot which were crinkle and crispy. I think I should’ve tried their speciality drink and make it dirty with the cream. I think that would have elevated the experience. Or a milkshake as my boyfriend says, to pair with his burger–he would’ve liked it more.
It was good for being fast food but wasn’t blown away after having high expectations. Also the drive up booths stressed me out they were so tight to pull into. But it’s cute how they bring you your order and you press the button when you’re ready.
Overall it was fun but I feel like I need a do-over with the menu.
Edit: French fries are amazing !!!!!
We had a sudden craving for some unique Sonic drinks and their delicious mozzarella sticks, and the Sonic in Peabody is closest location for us. We really liked that we could order on the Sonic app and just type in the stall number we parked at. Our drinks and food came out quickly and tasted freshly made! The mozzarella sticks area ! Also try the footlong chili cheese coney if you’re looking to enjoy something tasty but with bad nutritional value lol.
I miss seeing Sonic employees deliver the food on skates though! Overall, it was a nice experience and we’ll continue coming back for drinks and the mozzarella sticks!
I ordered a sweet tea and a double cheeseburger. Unfortunately, the sweet tea was a big letdown—the sugar didn’t dissolve properly, so it tasted like unsweetened tea with some sugar added after the fact. Not enjoyable at all. On the other hand, the burger was decent, nothing special but solid overall.
The best part of the whole experience was the drive-in concept itself—clicking the button to order and having the food brought out to the car. While I wouldn’t rave about the food, the staff and experience were great. I’d give it three stars.
