Ordered takeout and the food I got was very good. I asked for extra spicy and they actually made it spicy unlike other places that don’t even after asking. I’m picky with chinese food and this place has amazing value price and food quality wise. The soups are amazing. Both the hot and sour and wonton soup are absolutely delicious. Lunch special has a very good portion size. Def coming back. Got the Kung pao/sweet and sour chicken. Both were very good. The lady at the counter is very nice as well. I liked ordering and getting my food fairly quickly.

Came in greeted by the young girl behind the counter only asking “can I help you!” No hello or nothing. Ordered Chicken friend rice and Shrimp friend rice and this was the rice, see pictures. No veggies, peas, carrots, no egg, no nothing just yellow nasty tasting rice filled with jumbo chunks of onion and what looked like green onion or parsley. The chicken was so white, no color or flavor. Not sure who labeled this Chinese, Asian food etc but this is an epic fail. The taste was horrible and the rice was hard. . Absolutely disgusting and will never return.

It’s better than the dollar scoop slop. Ordered fried rice and got wok fried rice. Wonton soup gives a fair good amount of dumplings. I saw a fairly clean kitchen too.
This thing pass, and it’s cheap. It works when I’m hungry so here’s 5 star. If I’m nearby, want Chinese food I will go again.
Definitely not a A but somewhere between B- and B+
My only criticism is from my fried rice, it’s missing egg and I would be happy with more seasonings. Wontons appears to be premade frozen and left in soup far too long.

Oh no! What happened?! Song’s was my go-to in Woodstock. It was the best Chinese food in Woodstock. Period. We hadn’t ordered in a number of months so we placed an order today 10/14/25. The big, beautiful and flavorful dumplings are gone! They’ve been replaced by run of the mill standard and boring dumplings like you can get at any average Chinese restaurant. Those perfect dumplings have been killed. Murdered in the first degree. Changed to subpar trash. I can’t believe this! Even the General Tso recipe is different. The powerful flavor-packed sauce is gone. It’s now nearly flavorless and the chicken is bone dry. WHAT HAPPENED TO SONG’s?!!! I’m so sad. I have zero reason to ever order from the again now, especially that I have to pick it up myself. Why would I order Song’s for pick up when I can have another Chinese restaurant deliver it to my door? It used to be worth the effort to go pick it up because it was insanely good. Now it’s average and dull. So upset right now.

I’ve been coming here for 8 years, and it has been consistently delicious, every time. The owners are always there working hard to make sure of this; they are so pleasant.
The sesame tofu is my absolute favorite. Most other Chinese restaurants do not offer this. Their fried rice is fresh and cooked to perfection. The veggies are nice and crisp.
If you like Chinese food, you will love Song’s.

They were busy so it took a while, and the inside isn’t much to look at, but we ordered a lot of food, and all of it, I mean all of it was delicious and hot and fresh. Best crab Rangoon in the county.

I am reading some of the negative reviews and wondering if we are eating at the same restaurant. The food here was fresh, flavorful, and not greasy. Compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area, it is also cheaper for a better quality.
I see complaints about not starting your order until you arrive, and I believe this was true for me as well. However, they also verified my order and I don’t mind waiting all of 10 minutes. Hot food that they are ensuring is what you intended to eat? Yeah, sign me up.

First timer here. Ordered online and was ready in plenty of time. Orange chicken and cashew chicken for us. Both wife and I were pleased. Egg rolls were good too. We will be repeat customers.
