Hole in the wall bar that delivers on huge food portions. Fries were homemade and crispy, sandwiches can be split. Love the pizza and apps. Many large burger offerings, something for everyone. I do like this better than the original in downtown Columbus. Thank you Mindy for the great service!

Our waitress was phenomenal. She really made it a great experience for our 2 kids. Really going above and beyond. The food was delicious and well worth it. Large portions and great flavors. Next time we are in town this is the first place we are going.

Food was fantastic! Brought friends from out of town and they loved it as well. Dont have to only get a burger, their bologna sandwich is amazing as well. Service this night was not the best, but that seems to be an outlier. If you have the chance to checkout Delware and Thurmans, I would recommend it any day, just come hungry, so much food!

The menu offers something for everyone! The subs are generously piled with veg and overall very tasty. My companion and I usually split meals so we don’t feel overly full or have to carry leftovers around. When I ordered, I told the server we were going to share the meal without realizing that they would charge an additional fee (nor were we told that would be the case). Not a huge deal, but we didn’t need extra chips so it was unfortunate that we paid for them. The server also attempted to take the plate my mom was still eating from before confirming she was finished. Overall the food was good but the service was just okay.

We came to Son of Thurmon at a great time, we were greeted and seated when we walked in the door on a Wednesday evening. The service was helpful and attentive. The burgers were astounding. The photo does not show mine’s true height. A perfectly cooked burger with red in the middle as ordered, topped with Monterey cheese, sautéed onions, lettuce & tomatoe had to 6″ tall. Great taste. Fresh crunchy fries. Just what you’d expect from Son of Thurmon.

Overall, it was ok. There are a lot of different menu items and some really interesting looking burgers. We didn’t have much of a wait to be seated, but we did have to wait over 40 minutes for our food. My husband and I ordered the cheeseburger deluxe. We were told that medium is the rarest they are allowed to cook the burgers. So for anyone who is like us and likes rare/medium rare, they do not accommodate. Unfortunately our orders were incorrect when we got them, my husband’s burger had items he had asked to have omitted. We also originally didn’t get the sides we ordered, but our waitress was very kind and corrected this immediately. The burgers were ok, definitely cooked more than medium, but we didn’t want to wait for it to be remade. The fries though, those were absolutely amazing. The other issue we had is that we were given the incorrect bill. Luckily I was able to flag our waitress before she left with our card to verify and get the correct one. So again, it was an ok experience, but could’ve been so much better.

Ordered the Thurman Burger medium done. Burger I received was well done, nearly burnt as were the fries which were practically inedible. You’d have to know nothing about food prep to screw up that bad.
