What a special place! Seems like everyone who comes here knows chef Marshall and what a great chef he is. We had the crispy shrimp, the she crab bisque, the crab cakes, blue cheese filet, and each of the desserts that were on feature tonight. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Old fashioned was great too!! Can’t wait to come back ☺️

Damn…So good! We dined here on a Sunday evening. It was not very busy so we ordered and ate quite quickly. Best scallops we have ever had. Bartender and chef was so kind. Great to meet them! Did not disappoint!

Went on a Saturday night when they first opened. Its been about 10 years since last time there. Son is now the chef, but wasn’t there that night. Super friendly staff. Very limited seating. Menu on the chalk board. Not all had prices listed. We got the crispy shrimp appetizer ($18) which was amazing. Husband got a steak ($42), which he was very pleased with. I ordered lobster ravioli (price not listed on the board). It was very tasty, but quantity was not as expected for the price ($35). Was hoping to have leftovers, but only got 6 raviolis, which was very disappointing. It did come with a slice of flat bread and a couple asparagus spears. Felt that it should have been an appetizer – not an entree.

Some of the best food we have ever had! Great ambiance, outstanding food, best service ever! Gem of a place! Chef Platter had grouper, scallops, and filet over garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Crispy shrimp is served over an incredibly delicious slaw. And the grilled Romaine was phenomenal! Abbi sure knows how to make a cocktail and Marshall is a proper artist in the kitchen!

My husband and I have had the fortune to experience many great tastes from coast to coast and abroad. A definite gem in Algoma, this place is an unassuming dive with delicious, creative food. The restaurant allowed us to eat outside even though they were really busy and didn’t have service outdoors at the moment. We really appreciated that since we had our dog with us. The chef brought everything out and was super kind. The shrimp appetizer with the aioli and duck sauce was phenomenal. The only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is the grouper dish was pretty small for $34 as shown in my photos (I had a piece of the fish and chips on my plate from my companion’s plate). The shrimp appetizer, while delicious, included 4 shrimp at $18. Everything is priced a bit too high for the area and portion sizes.

Awesome food, drinks, and service. We left a text for a seat which worked out perfectly. The crab fritters were excellent also as an appetizer. Outdoor and indoor seating was available our choice. We love our desserts so the only complaint was that they only had one dessert choice “Key Lime pie.”
