Deep fried French toast – 3/5 – Definitely a specialty that most places do not have. In ranks standard fare amongst others I’ve had. Kudos for the plating work.
Service: 3/5 – Friendly staff.
Ambiance: 4/5 – Quite the nice interior and it’s totally decked out.
Portion to Price: 3/5 – Pricing is a little on the steeper side but there are definitely many elements to the plate

Absolutely loved Son and Garden! The food is delicious , especially the Bibimbap and Royal English Breakfast . Great atmosphere , friendly stuff, and beautifully presentation. Highly recommend!

Son & Garden is such a beautiful and dreamy spot! The interior is filled with flowers and pastel colors, making it perfect for photos. The food is not just pretty but also delicious. I loved corn pop and sticky rice tiger prawns– both were flavorful and well-presented. Service was friendly and fast. Great place for dinner with friends or a special date.

The interior was nicely decorated and had a cozy vibe, but unfortunately the food was below average. The Benedict, omelet, and loco moco were all disappointing, and the customer service could definitely be improved. Overall, not a place I would return to or recommend.

What an adorable and unique place! If you’re looking for a memorable experience, Son and Garden should be on your list.
We went there for brunch. The brunch options were varied and all rather unique. I had the fried chicken eggs Benedict, which replaced the Canadian bacon with fried chicken, the Hollandaise with a brown gravy, and the muffin with some toasted bread. The chicken was both juicy and crunchy. The eggs were perfectly poached. The potatoes were tasty. The gravy was OK, and the toast was a poor substitute for a nice muffin.
The cocktails were amazingly creative, both in formulation and even more so in presentation.
The restaurant can get rather busy. So, the restaurant got rather loud at times, and service suffered as the hard-working staff scrambled to help everyone.
This is probably not the place for a long, relaxing brunch with a long conversation. However, if you’re looking for a definitely memorable experience with delightful cocktails, Son and Garden is worth a visit.

This place is a 10 / 10 every time we go. I always recommend it to everyone who is visiting San Francisco. It’s beautiful, the food is beyond any exception you would have coming in. The decorations make you feel like you are in a fairy tale story.

How do I start with? The woman who lead our seats seems to be kept as a hostage and forced to work there. No greetings, no smile, no effort in trying to fake a smile. As we walk in, the floor is just sticky, I can’t imagine such a popular brunch place can’t even keep their place clean. If the floor in the dining area is already sticky, the kitchen is probably disgusting. The food, I ordered a burger, and guess what, the buns are freezing cold, after asking them to heat the buns up for me, they still only heat up the top one. After I took a bite of the heated top bun, I realized it’s the driest and most stale bun I’ve ever paid for. At the end I just ate my fries and the fried chicken. Amazing. What a great way to spend my Sunday.
