I love Somi Somi mainly for their creamy, rich texture and light sweetness, which makes every bite feel so smooth and satisfying ✨.
I recommend their upside-down with nutella/red bean fill + any soft serve flavor of your choice. Their individual taiyaki is also delicious and served fresh.
There’s often a line during peak hours, but it moves quickly! The storefront itself is super small but there’s plenty of seating outside. Never had issues parking in the Main St structure; however, street parking can be hard around mealtimes.
Somisomi provides some of the most delicious taiyaki in the area, with a soft middle slightly crispy on the outside waffle cone shaped like a fish. I love how you can choose the filling because sometimes red bean is too much after a meal. The custard is perfect! We sometimes buy the taiyaki filled to take home and they are a nice snack.
Flavors change on a weekly basis and the toppings always add the right amount of added texture to the soft serve.
We come here when we eat in the area, but beware during busy times the wait can be around 30min as the line sometimes goes down the street.
Because she didn’t help at all, we ended up ordering wrong stuff and need to reorder more things. Please don’t come if you are the first timers.
