COZY CAFE
It’s a great place to get coffee, pastries and treats. The place was well packed today. Not sure if it was due to the holiday time. The service was slow. Great selection of treats. The help at the front desk didn’t greet me when I entered but was friendly and nice when I was ready for purchase. We ordered a sprinkle cookie, chocolate muffin and chocolate truffle. The taste was 8/10.

Nice ambiance
Cons:
I wish they had e-menu/ prints for easy access to the available options. Also it will be easier to understand what’s in the treat/food item (ingredients).

Okay if you have a sweet tooth then this is the place for you. They’ve got a variety of candy and pastries. Their coffee and tea selection is great as well. We tried the chai tea latte spiced option which was delicious and the raspberry white chocolate cheesecake. Also took home some snacks : chocolate dipped cherry marshmallows and gourmet blueberry marshmallows. Very relaxing atmosphere..will be back soon.

DO NOT GET MATCHA FROM HERE!!! Worst “matcha latte” I’ve ever had. I knew the second it came out and I saw the color. I don’t even think there was matcha in it, it was like drinking milk with mint green sugar. However, their food was good. Bagels were perfectly buttered and toasted, cream cheese was whipped and fluffy. The potatoes I thought looked very overseasoned yet lacked flavor, and would have been much better if they were crispy. The egg and cheese bagels were good and so was the breakfast quesadilla.

A lot of people visit this place, 11 am is their busiest time. Good food, drinks, ambiance and fast service. A lot of choices for dessert. Nice place to chill while waiting.

Really cute and cozy place. Unfortunately the service is not, came in this morning and the employees were busy doing tasks so I look around a bit because nobody is at the register to take orders. After looking for maybe 5 min one of the girls says she can take the next order. I ordered the choconut latte off their menu received a latte with coconut milk?? I added a shot to make it more coffee like and ended up with pure espresso and milk.

Great coffee shop with so much more. Sandwiches available for breakfast, lunch and dinner with some seating available. Dessert options are incredible! Cookies, cakes, pies, muffins, etc. are all delicious. Excellent place for sweets!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops. They have SO much to offer from their bakery, drinks, and food. The atmosphere can be a little overwhelming with so much going on, but they truly have anything you will ever need. They are accommodating for children having changing tables and highchairs. Great!

Thought I pressed 4 stars, but came out 3. My 1st time here. Nice place with good food all in all. Except the ranch in my wrap was just a “glob” in one part and not mixed in. The croissant was almost burnt on the top. The lemonade was pretty watery with not much flavor unfortunately because I like fresh lemonade. The oatmeal raisin cookie was good and the cinnamon bun also. I wonder if it can be warmed up? I’ll have to ask next time. Definitely going back. The other baked goods, some are pretty pricey, but look good. And mostly, the staff seemed genuinely nice and friendly.

They have a small gift section which I believe is all locally made, Somethings Brewing branded prepackaged coffee in various flavors, unique cards, and decorative boxes to fill for gift giving. Even some Grayslake hometown pride choices.
Half of the space has cafe tables to sit and read, gather and chat, or work.
So many treats and freshly baked goodies to choose from! If you are watching your diet, send somone else in to get your order. It is a testament to your will power to head in for just a freshly brewed cup and leaving only with your coffee.
