Ordered a cheese quesadilla and when I got home and opened them up there was barely any cheese in it. Was only able to get a few bits from each half. Please do better. I know it’s just a “cheese quesadilla” but I expect a little more coverage of cheese.

The food was delicious, authentic, and I can’t believe how affordable! I got a bean tostada and horchata, and they gave me a little bowl of chips and my own bottle of salsa! It was so delicious and ordering was easy. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating

Their green chili is delicious. I ordered a green chili burrito plate. Deep fried and enchilada style with a side of rice and beans. The rice and beans are so good. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Hungry, I pulled into the first place I saw. I had never been to a Someburros but had too grumble a tummy to find another place. I’m glad I tried it.
I’ve stopped at 4 different Someburros in the Mesa, Tempe and Gilbert areas and never been disappointed. My go to, since it is the closest to me, is just east of Baseline and Stapely on the South side.
A good selection of items to try and I haven’t regretted any choice I’ve made.
Their taco salad with beef is a tasty, crunchy treat.
Burritos, tacos, enchiladas…all excellent.
Their corn chips are light, crisp and crunchy with good flavor.
Not big on atmosphere, nothing fancy. Some have patios and depending on location, can be pleasant.
They have s variety of fountain and bottled beverages. Prices are reasonable.
Give Someburros a try.

This is the 4th time I’ve had issues with them and I’m tired of it. I won’t talk about the others right now but. Today I ordered shredded chicken burro Deep fried with sour cream added on. Which sour cream is $1.75 which is already ridiculous. I got my burrito and it was mostly tortilla. There was a huge hole in it so when it was deepfried all the juice from the chicken which is usually really juicy and good was sucked out of the burrito and the chicken was bone dry and tasted horrible. There was barely any chicken and of course they forgot my sour cream but surprise. I like coming here because it’s close to my work for lunch breaks but dude I get to work and my order is wrong and then I don’t have time to go back since my lunch break is almost over. Stop messing up my simple order please! I threw it in the trash it was horrible

Update April 2025
Not much of a change. Still good. We usually eat at once closer to our house but stopped back at this one in an attempt to avoid rush hour. Good was great. Ordered enough for next overs.

Older review. We like Someburros. I’m a creature of habit and usually get the pollo fundido. Wife usually get some sort of combo plate. This time I ordered the Mexican pizza. It’s really good too. We will definitely go back.

Being from the north and wanting as close to authentic Mexican food as I could get I have to say I am absolutely delighted we found this place!

The food was first class AWESOME filled with all of the flavors of grandma’s kitchen. The service was not only filled with a happy personality but very informative. Every employee we encountered was very kind, helpful and happy.

I would definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone! Thank you for the experience of being a valued customer!

Our fourth visit was disappointing. My fiance and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere, however our past few visits the night cashier was not friendly to us. The cashier did not offer alternatives to menu choices, when they made us aware of a unavailable menu option. And did not adjust our order when menu items were not available. The cashier did not seem happy working the past few days. They may have been having a bad week. We decided to not return .

This Someburros has been at this location for about 20 years. It has undergone some improvements over the years, but right now the inside looks brand new.

I have been here a total of three times in the last 20 years, and I live in the neighborhood. When they opened, my first impression was very dim. The kids working in there were sloppy and the manager was rude. I never wanted to go back.

Years later, they fixed the place up a bit, and I decided to give it another shot. It was way better, but still just average, and the prices were higher than other nearby places, so there was no reason to keep going back.

This time, we went for Taco Tuesday. It’s October and their decorations are adorable! The kids working in there are nice, friendly, hard-working, and clean. The tacos are still a little bit more expensive than other places, but not absurdly so. We had a good experience. Good food. Good company. Good time.
I might even go back before another ten years passes, LoL!
