Reviews
I’ve stopped at 4 different Someburros in the Mesa, Tempe and Gilbert areas and never been disappointed. My go to, since it is the closest to me, is just east of Baseline and Stapely on the South side.
A good selection of items to try and I haven’t regretted any choice I’ve made.
Their taco salad with beef is a tasty, crunchy treat.
Burritos, tacos, enchiladas…all excellent.
Their corn chips are light, crisp and crunchy with good flavor.
Not big on atmosphere, nothing fancy. Some have patios and depending on location, can be pleasant.
They have s variety of fountain and bottled beverages. Prices are reasonable.
Give Someburros a try.
Not much of a change. Still good. We usually eat at once closer to our house but stopped back at this one in an attempt to avoid rush hour. Good was great. Ordered enough for next overs.
Older review. We like Someburros. I’m a creature of habit and usually get the pollo fundido. Wife usually get some sort of combo plate. This time I ordered the Mexican pizza. It’s really good too. We will definitely go back.
The food was first class AWESOME filled with all of the flavors of grandma’s kitchen. The service was not only filled with a happy personality but very informative. Every employee we encountered was very kind, helpful and happy.
I would definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone! Thank you for the experience of being a valued customer!
I have been here a total of three times in the last 20 years, and I live in the neighborhood. When they opened, my first impression was very dim. The kids working in there were sloppy and the manager was rude. I never wanted to go back.
Years later, they fixed the place up a bit, and I decided to give it another shot. It was way better, but still just average, and the prices were higher than other nearby places, so there was no reason to keep going back.
This time, we went for Taco Tuesday. It’s October and their decorations are adorable! The kids working in there are nice, friendly, hard-working, and clean. The tacos are still a little bit more expensive than other places, but not absurdly so. We had a good experience. Good food. Good company. Good time.
I might even go back before another ten years passes, LoL!
