We grabbed takeout last night for a party of three, and once again it was a great experience. I ordered the grande tostada—my absolute favorite—and it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Even for takeout, the quality was excellent.

Spent $50, before drinks…to find out my order isn’t complete. What a bummer. This food isn’t cheap, neither is gas . I live by the Granite Hills Sombreros, but was on my way home from work so I stopped here. I get rice with my chili verde burrito so it’s not a liquidy mess. Well, shame on me for not tearing apart my burrito to confirm there is or isn’t rice in the burrito. For the amount of $$ we cough up, it’s frustrating. Maybe Sombreros should hang a sign reminding customers to check their order before leaving because order accuracy is not Sombreros specialty.

Food absolutely incredible I’ve loved this establishment for years delicious burritos of all kinds, awesome rewards program as well. Unfortunately this location I had the worst service today. Generally they’re very nice actually. Depressingly large man at the front today was very rude and impatient as he took our order. Watched him help others and have the same horrible attitude. I’d recommend he find a job where he doesn’t interact with people. Very sad to get met with that level of service from a place I love so dearly. I will be returning with my business, but will be walking right back out if I see him up front again. He’s pretty hard to miss.

You know for 16.99 plus tax for carne asada fries you would think it would be enough for two adults to dine. I specifically asked if it would feed two people. Fries are inexpensive guys, I think because they had a special for a free bean and cheese burrito they skimped on what I actually paid for. I will NEVER go back to spend my hard earned money on mediocre skimpy food at sombreros. Do yourself a favor and go to sayulitas in santee, their fries are plenty big for two people likely 3 people for just a couple bucks more and their salsa is better, so much better food and portions. Sombreros is making a killing on their profits. Very disappointed with you sombreros.

this restaurant is very clean and the staff is always friendly and patient… great customer service!! this time I got something a little different~ I ordered CARNITAS CHIPS To share with my other half. OMG THEY WERE THE BEST!! We literally couldn’t stop thanking the female cook!!! She did an outstanding job!!! Chips were fresh and even still crunchy by the time we got to the bottom of the fish…Huge pieces of Carnitas All thru out our dish. Again THANK YOU it was absolutely AMAZING. We were both comfortably full!! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Prices for Mexican food have gone through the roof in the past few years. I remember a California burrito used to be less than 10 bucks and I still had change left over for a beer next door. One of my favorite taco shops in the county. The best way to unwind after a sweaty day in the east county heat is with a horchata from this place
