I have tried many, many Thai restaurants in Orange County, and will keep returning to Somboon. Their food is flavorful, fresh, and cooked with love. The curries, bbq chicken, pad kaphrao (chicken over rice with basil), and soups are SO delicious. It is located in a food court, and they have managed to keep prices very low compared to other Thai restos. Another reason I eat Somboon’s Thai food is because I feel so heathy afterwards! 🙂

Came here expecting some good Thai food but this is honestly insulting. Bought some spring rolls for $10 mind you and it only has half a shrimp inside. Stuffed full with lettuce. The fried rice was okay other than the big piece of tomato in the middle. Would not recommend.

Although located midst of predominantly Spanish speaking population, this “fast-food” joint produces yum-yum Thai cuisine. The food was flavorful that included the spiciness, tanginess, saltiness, bitterness, and sweetness.
The seafood salad capped with fish sauce, lemon juice and green chilies was splendid indeed. The oysters, shrimps, and the fish were juicy, succulent and well prepared. The eggplant spicy dish was little bit boring as it lacked the authenticity. If not great place to enjoy a great meal. Price wise is on the higher side teeny-weeny bit.

Ordered Chicken Pad See Ew and the Spicy Chicken Salad through UberEats; quick service! The noodles were too broken up in the Pad See Ew (large portion) and the Spicy Chicken Salad is flavored sooo good and made with fresh vegetables but, it could use a little more lettuce. Will definitely come back for the salad!

Avoid placing orders with this restaurant through Ubereats. Never had an issue with that app until I placed an order with this restaurant. Restaurant never bothered to call me and let me know that my order was not picked up. Guess they didn’t care to keep my money for it either. Understand but courtesy to at least call customers with an order issue would be nice.
