Im on a road trip hiking Glacier National park and drove the entire going to the sun road and had to stop to rest in my pickup. I saw their sign on Hwy 2. They serve bowls. If you are used to eating healthy like I am you will really appreciate this place. Fresh ingredients and an amazing combination of flavors. Some of the best prepared beef and spinach/artichoke dip I’ve ever eaten. Quinoa is amazing and hard to find at any restaurant. Really fast and friendly service

We stopped in at the Whistle Stop Restaurant in East Glacier Park and were pleasantly surprised! It’s a cozy spot right off the main road, with a clean and updated interior and lots of indoor seating. There’s also a nice outdoor area if you want to enjoy the mountain air.

The food was fresh and made to orderand we loved the build your own bowl option, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. The service was friendly and welcoming. It did get a bit busy when we were there, especially in the line to order, but it moved at a steady pace. Parking can be a little tricky during peak times, so be prepared for that.

Overall, a great stop for a delicious bite in East Glacier. Thanks for the great service!

Build your preferred combo from base of rice with various meats or vegetables plus salad and pita with a choice of dip. All excellent with local ingredients. Small family owned business. Can opt for vegetarian or vegan as well.

Build your own combo salad with mains, this Mediterranean/greek style salad place will surprise you. Their protein selection was surprisingly flavorful. We got wagyu beef meatballs and it’s very flavorful and tasty! I am not a salad person and I must say I really enjoyed their salad with toppings, spinach artichoke dip and we got quinoa. All are amazing! The only downside is the portion is pretty small.

Great little place in East Glacier. Convenient if you’re staying anywhere in town. Had the Spanish omelette and huckleberry French toast one morning, both so good! Went for lunch another day and we had the pulled pork sandwich with creamy bolognese soup. Both great. The chicken rice bowl was good too, it just comes with a LOT of slaw and heavy on the vinegar.
Would come back again : )

The burgers were good and had nice flavor. I would definitely prefer fries over plain potato chips. My whistle stop Burger was a little dry for my taste. I prefer more sauces. The rest of my family really enjoyed the food and the Huckleberry pie was fantastic I definitely recommend that. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The parking was a bit difficult the parking lot was small for the crowd they had and we had to park a half a block away on the side of the road.

We stopped here after a day of hiking as we were heading back to Saint Mary’s and what a pleasant surprise. The food was fresh, healthy and tasty. The young woman who served us was friendly and patient. It is a fast casual Mediterranean fare with locally sourced ingredients. It was much better and less expensive than the food choices we have found in Saint Mary’s. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for your reason to stop here I have photo’s! Breakfast was AMAZING. I was seated by a window with this magnificent view of the mountains behind the town. The local dogs raced around the streets. Alexandra was very polite, quick, and very kind. I myself have been a waitress so I always bus up my own table for people who take my order.
I had a hot chocolate and that was delicious. For my meal I had the Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast and yes that’s a mouth full to say! Golden Fluffy and Gooey on the inside with cream cheese, cinnamon notes and apple pieces this was a sweet tooth’s dream!
I had a side order of the breakfast potatoes which has red and green bell peppers and diced onions. cooked to perfection I was very pleased with them.
The chairs have socks on the bottom of them to prevent them from scratching the floor and I was a fan of it. Thought it was adorable. The paper towel holders are also very neat. I love the set up. I was told the building is about 5 months old. So it was very clean and hardly much on the walls but it was cozy and really made for a memorable stop.

Name and farm to table signage is very misleading. It’s like a local Chipotle. It has bowl only opinions. Pita bread was very stale. Not super impressed.
