This is a cozy pizza restaurant nestled on Longboat Key. It’s a fun place to go when you want to get a slice, or a good garlic knot.

Just walked in, environment was super chill. The tv had football and there was great posters. Small shop but perfect, and great music and vibes. Service was great as well, super friendly and helpful guys. Unfortunately the only half n half you can do is if you build your own, you can’t just pick two off the menu items. But everything else was super great. They also have wings which is super nice because not many places around here do unless you want to sit in traffic:) Definitely try it out.

Picked up an order to go.
First, the small cheese pizza is VERY thin and very dry and flavorless, hardly any sauce or cheese.
The “garlic” knots are not “HUGE”, as advertised and there is NO garlic on here. They are dry as if they’ve been sitting out for 2 days, and don’t come with any sauce.
The wings look and taste like they come out of a frozen bag out of the grocery store that you throw in the oven.
Just not good at all, very disappointing, especially for $35.
Definitely won’t return.

I cannot speak to the quality of the food, but the restaurant is poorly managed with only one person and a line of 10+ people waiting to pick up their food. However, all of our orders were cancelled unbeknownst to us because they didn’t email call or even shut off online ordering because they couldn’t handle the volume of people it is unfair to leave the poor guy on his own expected to deal with all these people and online ordering should be shut off if you guys can’t handle the volume of orders and an email should be sent if the food is canceled. I shouldn’t have to find out when I show up to the restaurant along with a bunch of other people hopefully one day I will be able to try the pizza and update the review.

I ordered takeout with a baked ziti disb and waited approximately 45 minutes. When I got home, I discovered there was absolutely no cheese in the dish, despite cheese being listed in the online description and being a basic component of baked ziti. What I received was plain pasta with tomato sauce—something I could have easily made at home with the cheapest ingredients in my pantry.
When I called the restaurant to address this, the employee I spoke with was rude and dismissive, insisted that this was how the dish is supposed to be prepared, and then asked what I wanted him to do about it. Between the poor quality of the food and the unprofessional attitude, this was a frustrating and unacceptable experience.

We have been faithful clients for over 3 years. However, the pizza here has significantly gone down hill. It used to be one of the best around. Now it taste like cheaper ingredients and they use a lower quality cheese. Not sure if it’s a blend or what, but it’s not tasty. Too bad!!

Walked in to pick up a pizza and salad on a Tuesday at 5:45. No customers, just one staff person. He was wearing ear buds and clearly playing music which prevented him from hearing me tell him my name. After repeating everything in my order twice, because he couldn’t hear over his music, I was able to secure my order. Asked for napkins (twice) and was finally directed to them before leaving. How hard is it to service one customer with only one order waiting to be picked up? Food was decent but I was given the wrong salad dressing. Disappointing.

For New Yorkers it’s hard to find decent pizza anywhere else, especially Florida. This place has solid pizza- and that’s a lot coming from us (certified pizza snobs). Definitely scratched the itch for a good slice when on vacation!!

My job places an order every Wednesday and we will continue to do so. Solorzano’s has the best pizza on the island! They are so friendly, and always fulfill our complicated order exactly how we ask for it. Thank you!!!
