It took a while to try their pizza but when I did I was incredibly surprised. It is delicious. The taste is absolutely great and it’s cooked perfectly. Very friendly staff and always a plus having a beer while waiting for your food. My new favorite pizza, much tastier than other area pizza shops. I worked in a pizza place for 14 years so I like to think I know pizza, and this is great pizza. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t

Dined there last night with my daughter and 3.5 year old grandson.
Firstly, great service by Morgan. The cheese pizza was thin crust, cooked well and very good in sauce and cheese blend.
Secondly their customer service was excellent. My grandson knocked the half tray of pizza on the floor accidentally. The manager and waitress rushed over and told us they’d make us a whole new pie. They both felt so bad.
We declined that very nice offer and thought that was that.
But when the bill came they had taken the large cheese pizza off the bill.
It was not necessary at all but they went above and beyond and it was appreciated.
We will definitely return and highly recommend.

honestly the atmosphere and store is so nice the staff was nice and polite , fast with the order . but the food was sooo disappointing the s’mores came is a joke … i thought it would be a cake with graham crackers topping and chocolate drizzle turns out it’s a dry piece of cake with some white topping doesn’t taste like smores at all nor look like it i’m so sad i was excited the pizza was pretty good i got honey hot roni with ricotta. the crust not that good everything else was good on the pizza. would i go again …? no.

I tried the pizza from here thinking, “the name is solid slice!” you have to try the pizza. You need to change the name of your spot. The pizza is TERRIBLE. The second I opened the box in the car I was disappointed. It was like cardboard crust with marinara base for the sauce. The vegetables I got on it were undercooked and overcooked and I honestly would have rather a frozen pizza. I don’t understand how you can be named this ans have crap for pizza? I also got a French onion soup that was ok. It has a little bit of a sour taste to it, which I found a little off putting. I have been begging my boyfriend to try this place because it is around the corner from us. Big disappointment! I ate 2 and the rest is going in the garbage!

I was finally able to get to SOLID SLICE and it was worth the wait. I don’t think we’ll be waiting anymore. Already planning the next trip there. My pictures came out horrible so my apologies. I had to do it quick because my twin toddlers were hungry. Our server was Shawna and she was such a doll. Very patient and kind and very attentive. Even asked if we wanted our picture taken. We started off with a Coors lite and rum and Coke with the beer cheese pretzel appetizer and OMG they were so good! The cheese was absolutely delicious! Paired very well.
Kids got a cheese pizza, I was dying to try the hot roni and wow!!! Sauce was perfect. The perfect amount of hot honey. The cheese reminds me of a place where I used to go before moving to Haverhill (I used to live in Winthrop) I want to say a mixture of biancies and the brown jug. In all honesty. It reminds me me more of the brown jug pizza!! It was incredible. Dough was 100% on point!! Crispy and tasty! It’s hard to find both aslects in my opinion. Husband got the Carribian Cauliflower pizza since he can’t have wheat anymore as of recently. Everything was great. Customer service & food! The atmosphere was all chill vibes. Even with crazy 2 year olds wanting to attempt to run around. I’ll be back!!!

The pizza was really good today, we got a large Fenway (sausage, onions & peppers), but OMG the service was atrocious at the bar. I don’t know if this girl was the regular bartender, but she did not do a single thing unless I asked her to do it. She gave us a drink, and left us sitting there. We said can we get some menus? She left us with the menus for what felt like eternity, walking by us tons of times while they were pulled in front of us (the universal sign for being ready to order) until we finally said can we place an order? Then when my drink was empty, do you think she noticed? No I had to finally flag her down and say could I get another drink over here please? Then when it was time to leave, I put my card down with the tab and she kept on walking here and there, fidgeting with this or that, washing glasses doing everything except coming over to us. They were like eight people at the bar, it was not busy enough to warrant this bad of service. I also wish there was an ATM in the actual bar so we didn’t have to leave and go to the convenience store to get cash to come back and play Keno. A keno machine would be nice actually, because having to go up to the counter and wait for the girl to come back over there is not very convenient. Luckily the pizza was good but takeout for us in the future. Large pizza and 6 drinks (4 Tito’s & 2 JD) $94 before tip. The pizza was $24.

We went for lunch today, it was our first visit and we will definitely be back! The drinks were tasty and strong, I got the Mai tai and hubby got a strawberry lemon drop martini, both were great. We started with the wings and chicken tenders for appetizers. They came out hot and very quickly. The sauces were delicious and fresh, you could tell they were made in house. My husband loved them so much he got another order of both and fries for his meal. One of my daughters got the smash burger which she loved. Myself and my other daughter both got the BBQ chicken mac and cheese, it was the best decision! It was cheesy and delicious! Pricing was very reasonable and the quality was impeccable. My husband is VERY picky and can’t wait to go back. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful. Definitely check out this place!

We got take out – 2 pizzas; 1/2 cheese/pepperoni and the specialty BBQ chicken. We found the crust to be very hard and over cooked. The sauce was lacking flavor. The BBQ chicken had very little chicken and the BBQ sauce was underwhelming and seemed straight out of a bottle. Our household consensus deemed Solid Slice as not solid and also not worth the money. Maybe we’ll give them another try and dine-in but we won’t be rushing back.

Renovation looks great! Bartender, Billy was awesome! His first night, but wouldn’t have known if he didn’t tell us. Well be back to see him! Food and drinks were so good. We had the Florentine pizza (perfectly cooked), garden salad, and Italian wedding soup. All were outstanding! Keno was an added bonus! Young man and woman at the front were pleasant. We felt very welcome. Highly recommend giving this new place a try!
