We ordered Chicken Marsala and Crab Ravioli.
Chicken Marsala was good but the Crab Ravioli was way too sweet.
The crab meat was already sweet and the sauce was sweeter. So it wasn’t worth of the price.
It was our first time there. The host was unfriendly and not welcoming. We weren’t impressed w/ the service.
Don’t think we’ll come back.

Really great Italian restaurant in St. Paul. You wouldn’t expect it to be so good, but it’s a wonderful surprise. Staff knows what they are talking about and when you need something. Impressive wine list and desserts are killer!

We had the artichoke dip, spicy chicken pizza and mussels. All were pretty good if not exceptional. We had friendly service and had a great time. Not the best but above average.

A nice restaurant for a sit down meal. The patio was well shaded and comfortable. The staff was very nice and checked in on the food. The food was very good with a good balance between the sauce and pasta.

Brunch buffet was good. A couple of different pastas. My favorite was tortellini in a creamy butter sauce. Standard brunch fare as well. French toast, pancakes, fresh fruit, omelet station, bacon and a variety of desserts.
It was pretty quiet. Staff were very attentive but not intrusive. The crowd was mostly seniors.

OUTSTANDING! One of the busiest restaurant nights of the year, and yet every staff member made us feel welcome and as if we were among their VIPs. Every bite of appetizer (bruschetta) was worth savoring, even the salad was wonderful! We each enjoyed our entrees both very different but each bite extraordinary.

My husband and I had dinner here and were very impressed! The service was good and timely. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and had a good attitude. Forgot her name unfortunately. I had the 14oz steak special with roasted potatoes, the potatoes were a bit dry but still very tasty! The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking. My husband had the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and was in awe :). Overall great experience!

We have lived in the area 30 years, this restaurant has been here for at least 10, and we finally decided to go there for dinner. Being in a strip mall, it was never very appealing but once we went in we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return. Bartender made fabulous cocktails, they have a good happy hour, and the entrees we ordered in the restaurant were delicious. We were pleasantly surprised and happy to have found a local restaurant that we will frequent.

GOOD WITH SOME ISSUES! We ate at Sole Mio last night for the first time last. My husband and I eat out quite often, and are always looking for new places and new types of cuisine, but also frequent the restaurants we really enjoy. The wine list was nice and we enjoyed the food, but felt extremely rushed through our meal. While we do understand it was a Friday night, there were other tables available. One thing we take into consideration when choosing a restaurant, and we feel is a part of enjoying the dining experience is taking our time. We are not sure if it was just our server’s timing or something consistent with the restaurant, but felt it was very rude for our entrees to show up when we were only half way through our salads. Given we were seated at a very small table, it was not even an option to continue with the salad and have our entrees on the table.
While we do not feel the prices are out of line, we had hoped the service would be somewhat more consistent with finer dining than a Sports Bar. Unfortunately that was not the case.
A positive is that all of the staff was very friendly, and the bartender especially accommodating while we were seated at the mall patio waiting for our table.

The food here is always consistently great. The menu prices for a couple span the range of “inexpensive evening” to “night on the town splurge”. The atmosphere is cozy, but not pretentious. Staff is friendly. Lots of good wines available to pair with the meal. This is our go-to place for special occasions.
