This place is a scam. Buyer beware! Read to the end with evidence attached. I had very high hopes and took my daughters. Was disappointed overall with food, service, and pricing practice.
Immediately upon entering, I was told by the owner that this is “the best Italian restaurant on the East coast!” Then proceeds to tell his life and family story and how successful he’s become with multiple restaurants. He’s a nice guy, and there’s nothing wrong with the friendliness other than setting the expectation sooooo high and then under delivering by a mile.
The free warm bread was the best dish. The powdery parmesan tastes artificial. Appetizer came fast. Free salad came after 40 minutes. Main dish came 1:15 hrs after I asked about them.
I wouldn’t have posted this review if the food was actually tasty. The spaghetti ($18.95) with meat sauce (extra $5.95) is made of packaged noodles and bland sauce. Prego would’ve tasted better. The promoted special Zuppa di Pesce ($38.95!!) was made with a few frozen seafood ingredients (we’re oceanside and yes it’s very obviously not fresh), bland sauce, and overcooked packaged pasta. The parmesan risotto was bland and overcooked (likely precooked and ready to serve rather than fresh made to order.)
The surprise doesn’t end there. The bill came and 18% automatic gratuity was already added (the server is the owner and we’re only 3 people). THEN, the mandatory gratuity was TAXED 11.5%! I asked him and he said it’s not taxed (a lie, receipt is attached. You do the math). LASTLY, there’s a 3.99% credit card fee in addition to the whole bill.
Felt like I ate at a tourist trap in Naples. Never again.

We reserved a table for a party of six, which included my parents, my husband, and two kids. We were sat immediately upon coming in. I had the chicken parmesan, my husband had the shrimp fettuccine alfredo, my mom had the chicken marsala and my dad had the Pollo Alla Scarparíello. Both kids split spaghetti. We got the fiocchi appetizer. Everything was phenomenal. We kept striking out with places to eat at Myrtle while on vacation and we truly got lucky by coming to this place. We had been scammed and had expensive, awful food. So when I say we got lucky by coming here, we TRULY did! The food is homemade, including the bread. It is a family owned restaurant and our waitress said her grandmother makes all of the desserts everyday from scratch. So of course we tried the chocolate mousse cake, ricotta cheesecake and chocolate chip canoli. Kids loved everything too. When we come back to Myrtle, we will be coming back to this place. My only complaints is how dark it was inside because of the paint choice. Which is a minor complaint! And that they do not have a kids menu.

Top notch Italian restaurant, literally “the” best Italian I’ve ever had! The service was amazing, and the food was spectacular! I would love to go back again when I’m in this area. My Fiancé went to this restaurant 6 years ago when she was in this area & had such a wonderful experience with it she informed me we should go check it out together, I’m so glad we went!

Over the many years visiting MB and driving by ,we somehow never went here …. Till last night. Previously it always seemed busy , but we had the place to ourselves once the only other couple left at around 7. Service by family member Ava , was naturally great. She’s pleasant and a bit witty too. We enjoyed cocktails that were delicious, then Clams Oregenata, Calamari with The house special Flounder with risotto , Veal Parmigiana and the house special medallions of veal with a creamy sauce and shrimp also over risotto. Music and decor were pleasant and we enjoyed everything ( the spinach egg drop soup was too salty tho. ). We will surely return.

Run by the sweetest family. We initially had the granddaughter serving us (who is looking to take over the business in the future) and to be frank, she wasn’t great. We later had her grandmother help serve us and she was WONDERFUL. Two of our party members had them make dishes that weren’t even on the menu and they absolutely nailed it. Please go support this locally owned restaurant!

It was our first time there, we were seated in their new VIP area for the 6 of us. The staff were very inviting and accommodating with requests. The food was delicious and fresh! We were very pleased with the appetizers and our meals, and the friendly service. Thank you to the owner and his family for all the great hospitality and the complimentary limoncello shots after dinner! We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend this place!

Best Italian food I’ve ever had, family owned restaurant everything is homemade even the pasta noodles. The owner comes to your table and treats you like family. There is 3 generations working there. The owner has been in the business since he was 14yrs old. A True Italian restaurant a great place to take your family or friends highly recommended, they do not disappoint.

Amazing 1st time experience! Patricia and her family have a well round food and drink menu. I love the time they took to stop at the table to speak with us and make sure we were having a great experience at their place. We will most definitely be back.
