Offering a unique blend that transcends the usual restaurant fare and homestyle cooking, Sol Curry presents a delightful culinary experience. Our order included succulent Tandoori chicken, rich tikka masala, buttery garlic naan straight from the tandoor, flavorful chicken coconut curry, and the standout batata vada. Each dish was a revelation, surpassing our high expectations. The pricing is surprisingly modest, especially considering the generous portions. The only drawback is the lack of dine-in space—it’s strictly takeout or delivery. Nevertheless, the quality and value make it an unmissable treat for any Indian food lover.

We had one of our best meals from SolCurry on my recent visit to San Diego. Everything we ordered had the delicious taste of an authentic Indian home cooked meal. The Reshmi kabab bowl and the tandoori chicken quarters were perfectly marinated. The naan was puffy and soft. The butter chicken was a perfect blend of spices and creaminess. I loved the paneer tikka which had the softest of paneer pieces in a tangy creamy gravy. The portion sizes were big too. Anyone who is in San Diego must try this place. You will be 100% satisfied with the service and the meal.

The food was really nice and felt very healthy and not greasy which has been my gripe with a few other places.
I felt the pickup was smooth and my bag was ready when I got there,
I loved that part since I was rushing home and would have hated to wait there forever.
I definitely felt satisfied in the end with everything I ate, I am looking forward to trying something else on the menu when they change it next week. Thank you guys for finally something that really took me back to some fresh home cooked meal. Highly recommend this place!

Calling all lovers of spice! SolCurry is the best thing to come to North County. The ladies who run this place are the sweetest, and always call me to offer a specialty for that day. In photos, plain rice, buttered garlic Naan, Saag Chicken, Dahl of the day, Chicken Reshmi kebab on slaw; saffron rice, buttered garlic Naan, Kahari Chicken, and Chicken Tikka.

Got the lunch special – the Karahi chicken was very flavorful & cooked just right. The naan was soft yet surprisingly light & the dal was beautifully done. Dessert was gajar halwa, which is one of my favorites. Generous portion sizes as well so you’ll probably end up with leftovers.

We stopped by SolCurry on a Friday while we were in the area. We ordered the chicken tikka wrap, the butter chicken wrap, and the mango lassi. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the spice level is spectacular.
My kids said it was the best burrito/wrap they’ve ever had.
