First, the staff there are fantastic, second , they have just about every Mexican dish you can think and excellent preparation. We have tried just about everything on the menu and it has been great. The flavors are rich and authentic. The horchata is very good and refreshing.
Normally we get take out but have dined in as well. The establishment is well-maintained and great for a family meal.
Highly recommended, all dishes, including their burgers are fantastic. No matter what you order it is all delicious.

This place is awesome! Great customer service, generous portions, reasonable prices and a delicious menu. My husband enjoys the chicken salad with extra chicken and avocados. Today I tried the cheeseburger, yummy! I have also had the asada and tripa tacos.

This place had been open a while so we decided to give it a try. I like spicy & decided to try their guacamole & nacho cheese, horchata, taco salad & chicken fajitas & order of $5 chips.
First we noticed the price was much higher than FaceBook or their website. Second our preliminary check of the food seemed correct but when we got home we discovered what looked like the order of guacamole was really just what was supposed to come on the taco salad – the tomato.
So we were down $4. The “salad” that comes with the fajitas was really just iceberg lettuce cut into 3 chunks with a tomato & ranch. Never had a salad with fajitas anyway.
Next the $2 side of nacho cheese was 2 barely full 2 oz cups of bland canned nacho cheese.
Well the taco salad was a good portion & the reason for 1 star. The other star is because the portion of the fajitas was substantial too.
The fajitas tasted like paprika covered bell peppers. No flavor, even the onions were bland. Beans tasted like Rosarita refried beans. I ordered 2 extra tortillas which was a good idea because the meal came with one 12 inch tortilla.
Now the hot sauce tasted like watered down ketchup with maybe some black pepper, no flavor, no spice.
The horchata was watered down but not the worst I’ve had. The worst goes to Don Pedro in the Rockwood area.
All in all not worth $40 though the chips & entrees were a decent size & the tiny bit of guacamole we did get was pretty good. The flour tortillas were good too.
I won’t be eating here again. I was spoiled by living in Southern California for years & my brother married into a Mexican family. Every birthday, holiday, etc. I was spoiled with amazing & authentic food!
I suggest grabbing Pepe’s if the are open or going to Sandy for Taco Bell. Pepe’s is pretty darn good & Taco Bell has more flavor & is cheaper than Sol Tapatio Inc.

I drove through the drive through for lunch and placed my order. The girl kept rushing me and saying “is that all?”. I had to keep telling her I had additional items to order. When I got to the drive through, she named off only 2 items. I corrected her and told her the third item. She said “Oh yes”. Either their prices are EXTREMLEY high all of a sudden or they charged me for 3 items and only gave me 2 because I feel like I paid enough for 3 things. I didn’t realize my error until I left. I called back and they told me to check me receipt. I explained that they didn’t give me a receipt and stated that I had to remind the girl at the window that I ordered 3 items and she confirmed. I was then told that without the receipt, there wasn’t much that could be done and that I had only paid for 2 items. I will not be going back.

They keep hiking prices up, which I understand but with the hike the quality is declining. I paid almost $4 per crunchy taco and each taco had about an inch of meat, maybe 10 shreds of cheese, scanty lettuce and burnt shells. I keep telling myself I’m never going back because it keeps getting worse. There’s not many options in Estacada. I wish this place would close so a business with more pride in quality and customer service could move in. Service is slow and staff are not welcoming or friendly. I called in my order, wasn’t told a total and on pick up was told to pay $39 for 12 tacos. That angered me then when I got home to see what I paid for, I was livid.
(I took pictures because of how pathetic these looked, unfortunately the pictures don’t even do justice)

I keep telling myself I’m not going to go back because of the poor quality of food and high prices for the quantity you get. I ordered the nachos today. I did ask for no beans, jalapeños and tomatoes. The container isn’t full, mostly cheese sauce and not real shredded cheese, tortilla chips are stale. I live barely 5 minutes away and food cold when I got home and the cheese barely melted. For $10.99 there are other places to eat better in the small town of Estacada. It might be fast and convenient but not worth it.

I just had what may have been the best breakfast burrito of my life. From order to in my hand in under 5 minutes. I got the sausage breakfast burrito and added sour cream. I didn’t even want to eat a full burrito, but I couldn’t stop myself.

I go to Sol Tapatio often and though I have sampled many things on the menu I really love their soft tacos, nachos and taco salads. I also appreciate the customer service with nice smiles.

Best chorizo breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. It was huge!! Friendly service (drive thru). Their menu is extensive….breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s a good thing I parked to eat it… you would never want to try to drive!
Can’t wait to come back.
