Today we DoorDashed our favorite pizza, excited to share it with family. We’ve been talking this place up as one of our favorites in town. We had a really disappointing experience for the first time with Sol Pie. We ordered the Sol Supreme and Margherita. Our order was wrong. Instead of the Sol Supreme, we received this half-baked thin crust pepperoni and cheese pizza. It didn’t even taste like Sol Pie. It was worse than a frozen pizza. We had to finish baking it in the oven. Margherita was a 10/10 though. Not sure what happened, but this experience ruined our love for Sol Pie and made for a terrible first impression on guests.

Our family tried Sol for the first time today. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Our pizza was cold and soggy. We live less than 10 min and was on time for pickup. I also ordered a build your own salad. There was maybe a cup of salad in the bowl, I ordered broccoli not knowing it was put on hot, so the lettuce was wilted. There was also a ton of greasy bacon on it with bacon grease gathered at the bottom of the bowl. I also ordered feta cheese which never came on it. This was NOT a good experience and will probably not be returning.

Sol Pie is my favorite pizza spots. Whether I’m ordering it for work or personally, they always knock it out of the park. I love that their ingredients are clean and I never have to worry about seed oils. Their customer service is always great and they’re willing to accommodate my challenging orders. Their pizza is also delicious which is really the cherry on top. I highly recommend!

1st time trying Sol, my daughter wouldn’t eat it. She said it tasted bad, even the cheese bread. I thought it had a unique taste, possibly something with the cheese or the sauce? It wasn’t great, but not gross. It looked delicious, but the taste was off. That was a pricey “try”. Sadly, probably not on my revisit list. We ordered Jan 8th I think. Pepperoni with peppers and an order of cheese bread.

It’s a higher price point, but you get what you pay for, ingredients are better quality, better crust. Personally I would rather pay a higher price for such an amazing pizza. Typically I feel so heavy and tired after eating pizza. Not with sol pizza
The crust is chewy, fluffy, not soggy. We got the pesto pizza, highly recommend. The pepperoni and mushroom was equally good.

In town for the Akron marathon and wanted to find a good pizza place! SOL Pie Pizza didn’t disappoint! I got a small Mushroom pan pizza and a build your own salad. My brother got a Vegan pizza with beyond sausage, mixed peppers and mushrooms. All of the food was delicious and you can actually taste the natural ingredients, especially in the salad. The guy who cashed us out, was super cool and courtesy. If you’re in the Akron area, check them out for pizza!

I ordered a pizza on DoorDash last night. It was a deep dish, and it was uncooked. The whole thing is literally still pizza dough. I spent WAY too much money to get uncooked pizza. Very disappointed. DoorDash said it wasn’t there problem so I paid 40 dollars to toss a pretty, yet unedible, pizza in the garbage.
