Fun local place to stop by that has great food and service! Been there a couple times and the food is fresh and flavorful. Ordered a couple bowls, the chimichanga fried burrito, and some tacos and guacamole. Highly recommend this shop because it has a cozy feel because of the location. Also they have great prices on Taco Tuesday!

This is a weekly sometimes bi-weekly trip. Whenever I choose to eat at this restaurant. The service is always great and food is always fresh. The portion size are great. I have never had a bad meal. On top of that that staff is extremely welcoming.

We ordered a kid’s burrito, a regular adult size, a couple of tacos, a chimichanga, & bottle guava margarita. The margarita is strong so if you’re not a liquor drinker, you got your fair warning about the potency.
That food was slamming. I was so hungry that I forgot to photograph my food before cutting into it. They season their sour cream with something & it is delicious. That chimichanga was a picture of perfection & I ate it before photographing it. Highly recommended! 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stars.

Sol Mexican Grill is a treat! I always look forward to my visits into DC when I can eat here. The food and the staff are amazing. I get a very simple bowl and its perfect for me.. but my team sees the look on my face when eating there knowing it’s the best meal I will have that week! Do not sleep on this gem in Friendship Heights!
