They have plenty of free parking. They sat us (4 people) down immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and funny . They gave us plenty of basket of chips right after we smashed the first one (free of charge). Our server took our drink orders and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything. We ordered 2 pitchers of strawberry and watermelon margarita. Watermelon is deff a much better choice. The food arrived hot and fresh. The portion was super big. Overall, I am very happy about the service and food we have. Additionally, the place is super clean, especially in their bathroom.

We had spent the previous two days backpacking through Forest Glen just a few miles away. When we came for lunch we were thirsty and hungry. The food here did not disappoint – flavorful, good size portions, and laid back atmosphere made for a great experience.

Carmen was a great server with a charming personality. The food was your basic Mexican food that was hot and tasty. Really cute decor and clean. We were happy to have stopped and enjoyed a meal here.

Every time I eat here, it is a great meal. Unlike many local mex joints, this place knows the rule of having their own salsa picante. Original dishes, service with a smile, what more could you ask for? Well, they deliver also, which is great for me.

Ate here for the first time today with friends and we all loved it. We all love Mexican fare and have eaten at many places and we were blown away by how exceptional the food was. My husband said the molcajete was the best he’s ever had! The restaurant is beautiful….felt like we were in a painting. Luis waited on us and was so attentive and personable….we can’t wait to go back.

I had a shrimp chimichanga. It was delicious! Our waitress was great. She took excellent care of us. Checked on us several times to make sure we didn’t need anything else. This place checks all the marks, great food, great prices, excellent service. Eager to visit again and try something different!!

Was not impressed with much of anything here (food, service or cost) but it was clean. Atmosphere was identical to La Potisina. Food was okay though a little more expensive for somethings that are cheaper elsewhere.
We ordered, and they got the order wrong. Waiter never came back to see if everything was ok, or if we needed anything. We were the only couple in there and all of a sudden, the music started loudly. Was never adjusted, so we practically had to yell to have a conversation.

My wife and I dined here this evening. We were lucky enough to get Carmen, the most serious funny waitress ever. Bubbly personality, very attentive, terrific service.
As for the food – it’s another level of traditional Mexican food.
Outside of the tortillas, which are clearly store bought, the food was AMAZING!!!
We ordered a double of the fajitas… and honestly, I don’t think a couple could get through a single order.
Drinks were a shy of having normal pours of alcohol…
Other than that, Top Notch!!!

This place has a really nice atmosphere… feels like LaPot but here, they have more food options, but they were a little slow, but they did open last week at the time of writing. Highly recommend the Sol Del Mar Steak Lunch, as it was very tasty. Will be returning again soon!!!
