OMG this restaurant was sooo good! I went with my amiga last night to have dinner and drinks and we both loved it! It’s not a giant restaurant but that was part of the charm, and to start the Valentine’s day weekend they had live music playing, my favorite, a trio playing boleros! I was in heaven! The food was insane! Carne asada was very flavorful and cooked just how I like it. The plate presentation was also very nice! The drink options were all very tempting as well! I went with the “Luna de miel” which was a guava margarita and it was delicious! My friend ordered the mole enchiladas and she cleaned her plate and kept saying it was delicious! We absolutely loved the whole experience and will most definitely be back!

An Extraordinary Hidden Gem in Whittier!
I hosted my mother’s 80th birthday celebration at this aesthetically, beautiful restaurant about three weeks ago, and let me tell you our guests are still raving about it! This place is truly a hidden gem in Whittier.
From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The Oaxaca-style food was outstanding, rich in flavor and beautifully presented. The dessert was a definite hit with everyone, and the ambiance was exactly what we had envisioned-warm, inviting, and perfect for such a special occasion.
Xotchil, one of the owners, was an absolute pleasure to work with-professional, extremely accommodating, and incredibly responsive to every question and request I had. Her team-Liz, Ines, and Raul-were equally amazing: friendly, attentive, and very professional throughout the entire event.
We were also grateful that the owners allowed us to bring in a Mariachi band, a Dueto band, and even a photo booth to make the night even more memorable. It was truly a magical and heartfelt evening, and I couldn’t be more thankful for how everything came together.
This milestone celebration meant so much to our family, and choosing this venue was one of the best decisions I made. Thank you to the entire team for your excellent service and for helping create such a beautiful and unforgettable memory for my mother and all of us!

Came in for our first visit since we heard they have happy hour from 2-6!
We arrived at 5 and said “we heard it’s happy hour!” The person at the reception area said “let me see” then noticed it was 5 said yes, almost reluctantly.
The place has had a complete face lift and looks SO nice inside! What a surprise!
An additional surprise was that There was only one other person in the entire restaurant!
When we were seated we were provided with regular menus. I asked if there was a happy hour menu and was told yes…the gentleman went to fetch the happy hour menu.
I placed an order for a few things to share. The waiter thought that order was just for me alone
Happy hour prices and food was good although the chips were SO very salty . We might be back and give it another shot.

Amazing!! The food is exquisite every single dish plate takes you back to the real Mexican flavor. The service is very nice

The food was great, the service was on point, and the drinks were very tasty. A different vibe than other Mexican restaurants, and no SUPER LOUD music, which seems to be the norm for uptown Whittier. We could actually hear each other’s conversations over the music.

True Gem! Great Service welcoming and Friendly Staff. Great Food, and the Drinks and Desert did not dissapoint. We tried Enmoladas de Mole Coloradito, Chicken Flautas , Chorizo con huevo, Potatoes, Hand made tortillas, Cafe de Olla , Watermelon Margarita, Postre de la casa , and Postre de Churro. Everything was Amazing Definetely returning soon. Thank you Sol626 !
