My friend suggested Sokai for lunch, and off we went with her two little ones. We arrived on a weekday at about 1 pm, and the mall parking where the restaurant is located was popping. There weren’t any open parking spaces, but I was able to park on the side of the road, where others had parked. We sat at a table near the entrance. The restaurant itself isn’t very large, but it felt spacious enough. Our server, Stephany, was super sweet and accommodating. She quickly gave the kids their coloring sheets and crayons and helped set up the table in a manner that we could easily fit the stroller comfortably.
We ordered from their lunch menu, where every dish is $13.99 from noon to 3 Monday through Friday. My friend and I both ordered poke bowls, and the kids shared a pollo saltado from the same menu, even though they do have a kids’ menu. All the dishes were delicious and solid portions. Great value and lunch spot for all ages. I would like to come back and try some of the yummy rolls on the menu.

Tonight was espectacular. This place combine the high kitchen with excellent service in a very comfortable environment. The menu vary between the Japanese food and peruan food with perfection. Also you can see how fresh is your food thanks to the observation of the cooking process of the chefs doing. Thanks to Stephany for her awesome service , our first visit and for sure not the last. I totally recommend this place.

Very good! Very Clean, fresh good food! Our server Beatriz was delightful! The only thing we wish was different was the online only menu. We are old school & prefer a print menu. We had a sushi roll and seaweed salad. We are in town for a few weeks & hope to get back here before we leave.

Beatriz at Sokai Bar was amazing, hands down the best part of our visit. Her service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring, and she made sure everything was perfect the entire time. Last time ordering from this place. I order a $24 Miami Roll which was extremely small for a $24 roll and so was the Kona Roll. I was expecting a really good Miami Roll and once I looked at the sushi inside the plastic container it was one of those moments where your mind tells you hold on, this doesn’t look right. Sure enough I bit into the first roll and it tasted disgusting, I had to get rid of that piece immediately. I’m pretty sure this is what makes people get sick eating sushi. The Kona roll has several ingredients one of them appeared to have a dehydrated ingredient but it did not look appealing at all. Love to know if others experienced this same issue.
