This place would have had five stars if it wasn’t for the service. Probably not the servers fault but poor management. She was the only server I saw the entire time.

Visiting Rock Island, we went to Soi 2 for lunch. I had the Pad Thai, which was very good. My friends had the Larb and Street Rice and everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was quick and staff were friendly, even as it got busy. Great spot for a meal. Also enjoyed the Thai Iced Tea.

Have been here several times before and still love it. We got pad kee mao, mango chicken (delicious), gra pow, and pad woo seen. All so tasty. Gra pow definitely packed a punch but very good. We enjoyed the food here and highly recommend it.

Pre-COVID, this use to be one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the area. The lunch portions were plentiful, flavorful and reasonable. Dinner was always higher but still delicious. However since COVID, ownership seems to have changed, the service is much slower, the portions have gotten smaller yet more expensive. I ordered the mango fried rice with chicken & it had maybe 4-5 pieces of mango just laying on the top & not mixed in the fried rice. The Thai chicken wings, are not whole wings anymore but maybe 4 flats with tips and 2 drums. All of which, is highly overpriced for the amount of food given which is so disappointing now. Also, the Iced Thai Tea was full of more ice than tea. Plus looks like they’ve lost their liquor license. They have a sign on the door-“No Alcohol”. Well I’m going to give them a break for a few months and next time, if I can’t get there for lunch, I’ll just make another restaurant choice. #UPDATE: This food had me with an upset stomach and back and forth to the toilet all night . So something was bad or spoiled that I ate from here last night Friday, Jan 20th.

Fantastic authentic Cuisine. Noodles are cooked to perfection. Everything had a wonderful flavor palate. They even have gluten free options. So much fun a so friendly!

This place is one of my new favorite take out restaurants. They average about 20 minutes in prepping my food for pick up, and the food stays nice and hot for awhile. I love their Fresh Rolls and the Pad Woon Sen dish, as those both tend to be healthier options. I was impressed because the second time I ordered food here, I asked for extra vegetables in my dish – they actually put a ton more veggies in! Not just a little scoop, but a decent amount! And oooh are they yummy. Even my boyfriend, who does not enjoy Thai food often, said the Pad Thai was one of the best he’s had! It is one of my goals to have tried almost everything on their menu… mmm!

I had a taste for pad thai, and Soi 2 thai popped up in my google search. I had heard of this place before, nonetheless, I paid it no mind. I ordered the Pad Thai, pork dumplings(steamed) and crab wontons. I wish I would have tried this restaurant sooner. When I tell you guys that this is the best thai that i’ve tried in the QC, believe me. The pad thai was very flavorful! My only gripe with the pad thai is that they were very stingy with the ingredients, such as, the chicken, eggs bean sprouts etc. Their food isn’t inexpensive, but is moderately priced. So with that being said I do feel like I overpaid to have mostly noodles. I ordered delivery, so i don’t know if that played a role. Otherwise, I would have given them a 5 star rating. The dumplings were good, but the ginger sauce to dip them in, is delightful. The crab wontons were some of the freshest that i’ve ever tasted. They were soft and crunchy, and not too hard at all. They were perfect. All in all, I’d rate this place a 4.7. I cannot wait to try them again.

Just ordered for dinner and all the food tasted delicious! Best crab Rangún we have had in the QC. Mango sweet rice was delicious. Pad Thai was a hit for my family who loves spicy food. Basil Duck was tender and tasty also!

Was in town for a family event and did a take-out dinner the night before. I live in downtown Chicago and am picky when it comes to Thai, but this restaurant can hold its own. The pork dumplings with ginger soy dip were wonderful. So was the crispy whole fish with sweet chili sauce… just enough spice. The only downer… I was too full to enjoy the fried banana and ice cream. Prices are fair considering the quality. If I lived in the Quad Cities, I’d be back again and again.
