First time here and was generally surprised with how well organised and friendly the staff are.
We showed up on a random Saturday and although the place was full, the staff were kind enough to provide seating without a reservation.
Food was delicious, real authentic Thai and not just some cheap imitation you get these days.
Overall would recommend and will most likely come back to try the rest of the menu.

This place was nothing short of exceptional. The food was amazing. We had a selection of plates and shared the food so we could try a few things. The prawn toast was the best I’ve ever seen and tasted. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The flavours were delicate and perfectly balanced. Everything we had was amazing. Even simple foods like noodles were done with a twist and you can tell all the flavours had been carefully considered. The whole place is very well thought out. There is a coat stand which I loved because I hate sitting with a big coat on the back of my chair. We didn’t come with kids but there were pencils and small toys available if you went with children. The bathroom had a few essentials for if you were caught short which I also thought was a nice touch. The waitress was very friendly and explained the menu perfectly, she encouraged us to try a few things on the menu and boy am I glad I did. We spoke to the owner and she was lovely and very humble. She was wondering around cleaning tables and chatting to customers. Fantastic place to eat, great service and a friendly environment 5*

We went last night, picking up our daughter from uni. What fantastic food! A real taste delight. We had the Thai chicken, very tasty, not too spicy and barbecue chicken with a very spicy dip,an aubergine salad dish which was amazing,so tasty and spicy, a mushroom dish but didn’t know it was mushroom! It was the lightest batter and delicious sauce and looked so beautiful! Followed by Thai ice cream which is sort of chewy but good!
The place is bustling, nicely decorated, warm and inviting,I liked their serving dishes, everything worked together…..no table cloth stuffiness here! Service was efficient and friendly with plenty of staff.
Loved it,will return on our next visit to Birmingham. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants we’ve ever been to!

Really good food. Came on a whim. Fully accept the ‘no starters, no pad Thai’ idea. The food was absolutely superb ! If I’m in the area I’ll come again

Top notch, nosh!!!
Popped in for a mid week treat.
Food was spot on 4 small plates and a rice bowl filled the 2 of us nicely.
The flavours textures and expert seasoning left our taste buds tingling.

Well worth a visit

3 of us popped in on a whim and it was great to hear that they were fully booked. Not great for us without a booking, but great for them and the area. Luckily there was space left for walk ins so we sat at the bar/till area and had a wonderful time. The food was amazing as per and the staff were fantastic. My curry was so good I ordered another to take home. Yeah, THAT GOOD! I’ve loved Buddha Belly for years and enjoyed every portion of street food they’ve ever served, but the restaurant is NEXT LEVEL!

Not been for a while but glad to find the food is still up to the excellent standard we’d enjoyed previously. We had a variety of dishes between us and all of them were packed with flavour, we enjoyed every one of them. Good to see it busy too, we won’t leave it as long next time, thanks for a great evening

Tasty food but a little on the pricey side, especially the drinks. Eorth it though all in all, portions were generous. The tastiest dish was the BBQ aubergine.
Other feedback is why serve the tiniest piece of lime? And why use paper pots for the sauce? Bit weird you have to pay before you eat, sort of discourages you to order more, drinks, dessert etc.
Will come back though to try other dishes that look good. Nice buzzy atmosphere and good attentive service. Thank you ‍↕️

This restaurant is a great addition to Stirchley being the only local Thai restaurant to me. Having visited a total of 3 times I have mixed reviews but mainly positive. The mains are great! I’ve sampled four different dishes with the Thai fried chicken being my favourite.

What I did find that lets this down is the side dishes. They are expensive based on what you get. For instance, the prawn toast was £9 for two small slices. It was not even memorable. The chicken wings also seemed quite plain and the worst being the Thai styles Cumberland sausage which was £12.50 and only tasted of overpowered lemon grass which was off putting.

If I was to return, I would be very selective on what I order and would skip most of the side dishes based on experience of cost, quality and quantity.

The drink selection offers some great tasting craft beers but again these are on the expensive side and the cost of a pint cannot be justified based on its represented image which is roughly £7 – £7.50 a pint. One of the most expensive in Stirchley and I don’t see how they could justify this.

One other notable thing to mention is the cold air draft, if you are seated close to the door you will know it. Also closer to the bar is an air conditioning unit which turns on in intervals with cold and then hot air. This was noticeable quite a few times when eating, making me want to put my jacket back on and off every 15 minutes.

Some improvements could be made, I understand the cost of goods have gone up but the quality here hasn’t and those costs are being passed on to the consumer during a cost of living crisis leaving me feeling slightly cheated.

All staff were very friendly and polite, service as a whole was great.

Delicious food here and everything was seasoned perfectly and served fresh and hot.
Both the fried chicken and beef massaman is tender and saucy. Curry is on the mild-medium degree with a kick of spice.
King prawn toast and wings were also flavourful, and good choice of sauce paired with each dish.
Would suggest to make a booking, as it can get quite busy here, sometimes even on a weekday.
