My husband and I were very pleased with the service and the food. We had the hibachi steak, shrimp and chicken. The food was delicious. I only have a complaint about the steak. It was chewy which leads me to believe it wasn’t filet Mignon. I would most definitely go back.

About a week ago, we ate here. The food was the best a year ago, but this time, some dishes were ok, while others were not. The entrée comes faster than the appetizers. Sushi came last after everyone was full. Sushi was supposed to be one of our appetizers. When the sushi arrived, the spicy tuna had a rotten smell and an awful taste. We had to call the server to inform him, but of course, we had to find him first. Anyway, he took the spicy tuna off the bill. This is our last visit .

Maybe one of the better meals I’ve had in some time. Everything from the sushi to the Spicy Pad Thai to the desert was great. The food all seemed super fresh and the presentation was great.
The service was also good. We went around 4pm and got a table quickly. Our server was very friendly and took great care of us.
The restaurant also seemed very clean. The bathrooms were also some of the nicest I’ve used in this area, which says a lot as they seem to be a pretty high traffic stop.

Food was horrible. I ordered a scallop hibachi my rice tasted burnt and like lighter fluid. Never again…the waitress said it may be the end of the pot. Why would they serve that yuk. They replaced my burnt rice with white rice.

Came in around 1:30p and waited at the front for several minutes without seeing a soul. Questioned whether they were open and were ready to leave when someone noticed us. It took another minute or so for them to show us to a table. Sat for a couple of minutes and a server brought us water and disappeared for another long period of time. We left after more than 5 minutes of being ignored. We weren’t even offered drinks. There was 1 other table in the entire restaurant that we saw. Not surprising no one was there. Love the location in MB, have never had a good experience here. Odd.

We went in between lunch and dinner during the off season, so it was pretty slow. We were seated quickly and our server was super friendly and attentive. Drinks were good, they were out of a few of the wines we wanted to try, but no biggie. Cocktails we had were all really good. All of the seafood we got was phenomenal. We ordered a bunch of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi to share, everything was great. Spicy pad Thai was a little bland which was disappointing(had very little flavor nor any spice), but we asked for some garlic chili sauce and that spruced it up nicely. Miso soup was banging, and I loved the salmon carpaccio. The decor was fun and the place was clean.

I don’t know how anyone can give less then 5 stars! Food was amazing. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Ahi tuna was the best dish ever. The Japanese stone grill was amazing also. We will be back every visit to myrtle.
