The fried green tomato with elote is probably the highlight of the menu. Fried chicken is good. Nicely seasoned personally i prefer every piece bone in. The sides are all done well. Good acid in the collard greens very smoky gouda Mac and cheese. But the fried green tomato is really the star comparatively.

My husband took me to Soho for my birthday dinner. I’ve been wanting to try it for forever, and I heard it was amazing… I was blown out of the water.
I will preface this by saying, I was born and raised in the south. I was excited and a bit fearful that it wouldn’t match up to the southern comfort food I grew up on.
We were seated immediately and swiftly. After trying to figure out which delicious options to get for apps, we settled on pimento cheese and fancy deviled eggs. Meanwhile, we were brought hot, fresh, and fluffy biscuits. All were stellar!! For dinner, we got 2 thighs and 2 sides- mac and cheese and hammy collars. Folks, those collards are the best I’ve had. And the Mac and chicken? My god. My taste buds rejoiced and swam in the deliciousness and nostalgia of my youth. The chicken did not need any sauce whatsoever, but we loved the small batch hot sauce so much, we bought one to take home.
In addition, the service was impeccable. The restaraunt runs like a well oiled machine. My drink never got the chance to be empty. Our server was attentive and prompt.
I am delighted to say that we will be back, and this is our new favorite restaraunt in Cleveland. Now I know that whenever I want a taste of food from home, I don’t have to drive 600 miles- it’s right here, in the Heart of Cleveland.

Tbh, I don’t have a lot of fried chicken over the course of the year. When in Rome, though….
Saving myself for Soho’s fried chicken was a smart move because this place is the best I’ve ever had. I don’t know what they do differently, but whatever it is works.
The sides were perfection and the service was impeccable.
I also love the design of their new location. I happened to sit where an outline of the signs on the windows were backlit by the street lights. That was a pretty cool effect.

So happy SoHo is open!! We loved it on 25th and the quality of the food and service was just as good as we remembered. We were in for brunch and got the chicken and waffles and as always it was impeccable! I don’t know what they put in their hot sauce but we bought 2 bottles. Service was fantastic, they were very busy but our server was very attentive and took great care of us. We will be back again!

The chicken is a must! The drinks were fresh and delicious. I absolutely loved the macaroni and cheese. The thing that didn’t do it for me were the greens, too much sugar. They were very sweet which was a little off putting. On a brighter note the deviled eggs were my favorite, go for the “fancy” style for a lovely surprise. Overall a good experience.

My wife and I stopped in for brunch before heading to Playhouse Square for a show. Everything was fantastic. I had the coffee old fashioned and my wife had a traditional old fashioned, which were both excellent.
The biscuits with butter and apple butter were a great start to the meal. I had the chicken and waffles while my wife had the steak and eggs. We both cleaned our plates. We saw a lot of other dishes that we want to try on our next visit.

Absolutely love this place!! It’s been a favorite of ours since they opened in their original location on W. 25th. Their new restaurant is so charming and beautiful inside! Looking forward to dining on their patio this spring. The best service, friendliest staff, and the food & cocktails are 11/10! Don’t forget to purchase a bottle of “Good Golly” hot sauce to take home. It’s the best!

Love the new look, vibe, location. So cozy, bartender was very attentive & friendly and the food was fabulous! 3 of us enjoyed the crab cakes & each selected 2 chicken pieces with sides. Chicken, asparagus and cheesy grits were cooked to perfection. That asparagus – young & tender with a perfect hint of char. YUM! Highly recommend. Reservations were already booked so we got there at opening & grab spots at the bar.
