We love steak and chicken but for some reason this locations food seems to be cooked too fast or needs oil. The steak hardens within seconds and the rice is always hard. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We will definitely give it another shot and I’ll update the review.

This location, though it has a 93 sanitation score, has very tasty hibachi options that are quick for take-out. The cashier always quickly acknowledges me and is ready to take my order. The food, even with a recent price increase, is somewhat reasonably priced, given the economy. It’s a nice treat.

Giving it two stars bc it usually isn’t as terrible as it was tonight , it’s usually at least edible. I called my order in today and when I arrived it was wrong. I didn’t have the side of chicken I ordered or white rice instead of the fried rice they gave me. She took the food to correct it then gave it back to me without carrots. After getting home to eat it the white rice they gave me WAS NOT COOKED. I chewed half cooked rice and spit it out. So hard I can’t even eat the rice. And the chicken was very tough. Never returning. Hopefully I don’t get sick.

The hibachi steak actually tasted pretty good. But the last two times I ate there, there was hardly any steak or mushrooms on my plate.
Also the last two times that I ate there I got extremely sick afterwards I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or not. But BOTH times that I ate at sogo, I got extremely sick that night. And had stomach pains for up to 3 days afterwards.
The girl who was sitting down the entire time she took my order staring at her phone was actually polite when she did look at me. Pretty sure I’m not going to eat here anymore though. Fool me once… You know how that goes

Place is a little hole in the wall. The food is good. I’ve been here a handful of times and I always run the steak hibachi. I would get pick up as it always seems to be 100 degrees in the restaurant.

They have gone downhill. I used to come here all the time for the past 5years. I will never return if my life depended on it. I came an hour before closing on a Tuesday so I assume that they were just careless with making the food. I ordered the steak and chicken combed plate. It was so DRY. There was no sauce at all on the meat as though it had just been left out all day. I also ordered noodle and there was Shan no sauce or flavor to them. The food was inedible and I took a few bites and threw that trash out!

Love this place for takeout! The Japanese dishes are always spot on, and everything is ready quickly. I usually use a delivery app, and my order is always accurate and still hot. Highly recommend for anyone wanting tasty Japanese food at home.
