I recommend giving this place a try, as the good far outweighs the bad. The good: Fantastic, friendly service; excellent food at a reasonable price; good location; reasonable wait time. We waited about 10 minutes, and a meal with a beer was $25, with tons of leftovers. The bad: Poor ventilation. The moment we walked in the door every surface was coated with a sticky sheen … floors, waiting seats, windows … and a pervasive grill smell. When we returned home all clothes had the sheen and the smell and needed to go in the wash. I’m hoping we just caught this restaurant between vent servicing, but the entire place was a sticky mess, including the restrooms. Will I go back? 100%. Their food and service earned my respect; I just hope the housekeeping catches up!

Asked about gluten free accommodations and essentially got blown off with a simple “no.” Even though it’s very easy to accommodate with gluten free soy sauce and cooking on a clean grill separate from everyone else’s. It seems they did not care enough though and kinda ruined the experience for me. Best to call up beforehand – even still, could have been handled better.

Went in to make a to go order, the hostess girl let me know there would be a 35 minute wait on it. I asked if she could give me a call when food was ready she said yes and had me right down my number. Sat in my car for 45 minutes still no call. I went inside my food had been ready. When I let her know I was reaching my one hour wait mark she laughed and handed me my food. I then wanted to reassure there was sauce in the box, she smirked and rudely said yeah. Me and my family have been coming to eat here for years and we never encountered a problem. I also want to mention I got home and food wasn’t hot anymore. She needs to be a lot more polite and acknowledgeable and honest. If she couldn’t give me a call I would have waited inside the building. I’ve tried to call the restaurant to speak to a manager. Number is sending me straight to voicemail. This is so upsetting.

Horrible customer service! Girl who answers the phone had an attitude. Apparently it’s funny that you run out of steak on a Sunday before dinner, I was just starting my order and after waiting on hold for 4 minutes to get my order taken I get told ohh we are just out of steak. Sucks I really wanted to treat my family to hibachi but not with the attitude your associates have! I will take my $ somewhere nicer!* After reading reviews looks like they dont care about customers*

Waited 45 minutes to be seated which is totally normal, but had to wait another entire hour just to get our food started.

Women’s bathrooms need SEVERE attention. Doors don’t lock, and the stall doors/walls and toilets were absolutely filthy.

This was my first visit at this establishment. Service so poor with false advertisement, I would give Zero stars if I could. Atmosphere was ok to say the least. I went for the early bird special $27/for 2. We were a party of four and we seared. First of all, the cook wasn’t friendly and the vibe was off. The rice wasn’t fully cooked on grill thoroughly. Hard chucks of rice partially cooked. Cook refused to use butter on food even after we mentioned it to him. Meat and vegetables was bland and unseasoned not even with butter. After we ate, we were presented with a bill for $50.00 instead of $27 dollars plus tax. Since we didn’t let the cook know we were on the early bird special. I feel like when we checked in and were placed at the table that the waitress should have known or informed us to let the cook know that we were on the early bird special. This is a scam!! Beware food was less than tasteful and waitresses were not courteous or respectful. They act like they didn’t tell us that we can get the special as long as we were checked in before 630 pm and didn’t mention anything about letting the cook know. Also, the cook should have asked prior to taking orders.

I can’t speak about the food, as we chose not to eat there. We arrived at 5:05, five minutes after they opened. We went to the restrooms to wash our hands, both the bathrooms had doors that would not close and were falling off the hinges, the stalls were out of paper, one of the stalls was out of order (no sign though, just the toilet lid on top of the toilet bowl), the floors by the toilets were dirty, the paper towel dispenser didn’t work. My husband had gone to wash his hands at the same time and came back with the same report. We decided to leave.

I thought about trying them again despite getting eColi 2 years ago from this same place. The to-go hostess saw us standing at the dine in counter for over 10 minutes before she address us at 9:11 to tell us that they no longer accept dine in orders 30 minutes to closing. Cool, but why let & watch us wait so long until you cleared your entire line of over 5 parties to address us & have a 10 seconds conversation. The smirk & laugh she gave while we left out of the establishment is what provoked the review. Maybe consider changing your hours on google considering that you aren’t an express location.

First of all we have eaten there before and it was great. Last night was an epic fail on food quality. My husband and I ordered filet mignon and shrimp as another couple did. My salad had about 1/3 water in bottom of bowl. Our filet was only 4 small pieces each and three shrimp cooked with no flavor. The rice was dry and egg scorched, rice was full of oil and dry with no flavor – but soy sauce. My carrots where not heated throughout some where sill cold from fridge after the. Cook quickly cooked them . I got few pieces of mushrooms and vegetables. Totally disappointed.
Perhaps the cook needs cooking lessons, I don’t know. But I do know that if that continues, customers will dwindle.
So very disappointed in last nights meal..

My fiancé and I came here on 4/9/2023. The food was great the cooking was great and the atmosphere was great. We got there when they opened and they say is quickly and brought out our drinks, soups and salad pretty quickly. Very friendly staff. Would definitely go back. Thank you for a great first time visit.
