Softspot was packed when my husband and I stopped in, and for good reason! We ordered a Reese’s chocolate peanut butter cookie with vanilla ice cream and Heath on top. The cashier let us know it would be about a 20-minute wait, which was great to know upfront. Honestly, it was worth the wait—the dessert was delicious, very indulgent, and easily enough to share with a third person. A bit on the sweet side, but absolutely delicious!

Drove 30 min to try this new spot, gotta say it was worth the drive.
Hot chocolate was light, creamy, not too sweet. Marshmallow was light, not too sweet either.
However for the Smore hot chocolate, I wish they have milk substitute on the Kiosk for lactose intolerant people.
Over all: 8:7/10.
Will definitely come back for Sea salt hot chocolate an peppermint one.

The cookies are a bit pricey, but the rest of the food is reasonably priced. The portions are generous, and the service is quick. They even let me try a sample before I make a purchase!

What a cute little shop! We went on a Saturday and expected it to be crowded. While it was pretty busy, it didn’t feel cramped, and we don’t felt like we wasted too much time waiting on our order. The ice cream was very creamy and delicious, and the s’mores cocoa was definitely Instagram worthy. I will say, the cocoa was a little too bitter for my liking, and I wish it had been warmer. But watching the care the employees took to make it, along with the extra step to arrange all the Gummy Bears on top of my kids’ ice creams made the whole experience worth it.

We visited SoftSpot after seeing it on social media and wanted to check it out. It was a busy Sunday night and the place was packed. They only have two order kiosks, so there was a small wait before we could order.
We tried the hot chocolate. The marshmallow rim and topping were definitely the best part, and they offer tons of other choices like dirty sodas and hot cookies. The hot chocolate itself was okay, but the presentation was great.
Only two young ladies were working, and they handled the rush incredibly well—very impressive. There is some seating available, but most people were settled in and not in a hurry to leave.
Overall, it’s a fun dessert spot with unique options. We’d try it again if we’re back in the area.

I was thoroughly impressed when I stopped by for some desserts after a meal nearby. The soft serve ice cream—ube and Cookie Monster topped with strawberry shortcake crumbs—was incredibly refreshing and delicious. I also tried one of the molten cookies, the white chocolate, and macadamia, and it was perfection: crunchy with just the right amount of sweetness. The inside was cozy and clean, and the service was friendly. They even have some board games to play with friends. Plus, it was well air-conditioned, providing a cool, refreshing escape from the heat outside.

Went with my family to get the hot chocolate and a few cookies. The hot chocolate was look warm and not hot. The marshmallow tasted like artificial flavors, very low quality. Could’ve went to Trader Joe’s for better hot chocolate as well. My mother’s cookie was ice cold. Don’t waste your time and money going here.

This shop was so cute! I loved the decor and the atmosphere and the staff was super friendly and helpful! As someone who has never tried New Zealand style anything, they were kind enough to share with me about New Zealand style soft serve and recommend that I try it out as opposed to sticking to one of the classic flavors. I’m really glad that I gave it a shot- it’s more mild and less sweet than most soft serve flavors I’ve ever had but it was really refreshing and the portion size was MASSIVE- it’s been hours and I’m still full. That also might be because I also tried one of their delicious cookies and cream cookies- SO GOOD! I’ll totally stop in again to try some other things off of their menu- also the space is big enough for gatherings, if I ever decide to do a ice cream party I’d totally look into hosting it here, I’m sure they’d do an awesome job with events!

I went on a Thursday night at 10:15pm and the place was packed. I ordered and paid for two Moltn cookies at the kiosk but I waited about 10 minutes before I could flag a staff member to ask for suggestions to try out a New Zealand style soft serve option. It was a bit of a madhouse with three staff members working their tails off, nonstop. It was about 30 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I walked out with a cup of ice cream and two cookies. But it was clear so many others were waiting just as long, and the staff were simply overwhelmed with demand.
I ordered the New Zealand style ice cream, strawberries with vanilla ice cream base. They have vegan options for the base flavor too. My toppings were strawberry shortcake crumble and strawberry drizzle. Despite the long wait, it was delicious. Tasted very fresh and flavorful, and they gave me a large cup piled high.
Aside from the crazy atmosphere and demand on a Thursday night late, just before closing…
The menu on the various review and listing sites differs from what’s in person, so fair warning. I went in thinking I’d get the espresso ice cream and that wasn’t an option. Also, $8.99 for a drizzle of strawberry? That seems like a typo on the posted menu. It wasn’t a dip, but an actual drizzle, and neither would be worth a $9 up charge for a topping. Something seems off about that…I could not have read that correctly!
I’d definitely like to come back to try the various flavors of “dirty soda” and unique drinks, plus the soft serve varieties. Plenty on the menu that pique my curiosity.
As for the Moltn cookies, I was really not impressed. $5.99 for the larger cookies and even though they pulled mine directly off the warming tray, it was not warm, not “molten” and definitely not worth $6 a piece. I guess it’s cool to have a place that offers all different kinds of treats and desserts, but compared to competitor fresh-made cookie companies in the area, this was a swing and a miss for me.
But like I said, I’ll be back to try out the drinks and other soft serve flavor combos. It’s a nice late night option for those with a sweet tooth!
