Just tried their food first time. I’ve never had Albanian food before.
I’m speechless! This is hands down some of the most delicious home made hearty food I’ve ever had in my life.
Very generous portions as well. Beef stew was to die for accompanied with freshly baked fluffy bread.
And Burek pie was cheese filled delicious soft and crunchy, nicely baked dough. Absolutely delicious.
Highly recommend this place!

The albanian food here is top notch. Its like they made it right in grandma’s kitchen. To anyone whose not used to coming in here, it may look pretty chaotic and no real menu to look at you, you have to talk to the servers, and they are very polite and ready to give some suggestions.
But seriously, the food here is just too tasty, always fresh. More often than not you’d want to order away food, the seating is not too big, but it is certainly cozy and with chatting up with the locals in mind.
Currently it seems they’re moving things around so there arent tight halls at the moment, its more of an open space.
I highly recommend the food and the hospitality.
Not to mention the European sodas and other candies and treats!! You cant really find them anywhere else. And daily fresh bread you really feel at home here

Sofra Tropojane is a hidden gem! The food is incredibly authentic, fresh, and flavorful. Their traditional dishes are prepared with care, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The staff is welcoming and friendly, making the experience even better. A must-visit spot for anyone craving quality Albanian cuisine. Highly recommended!
