We were there for a large holiday gathering (30+ people) and this place was amazing!! The waitstaff was incredibly fast and super nice even though our group was very loud and moved all over the place! Lol Food was also fantastic and reasonably priced! Highly recommend Sofias! ☺️

I’m from outta town and i was advised to try this place and I wasn’t disappointed!!! The food was great and the service was spectacular! I literally have no complaints! Bella was my server and I highly recommend you ask for her by name. I would eat here again and I recommend that you try it too!!!

The ambience was very nice and very well decorated. The service was was quite good. We got the chicken grinder, 3 topping veg pizza and kids chicken tender plate. We did not like the pizza, we expected the pizza to be good since it was an Italian place. However the other items were fine. Hope to try some other type of pizza the next time.

UPDATE! So the original review with the Server “Nic” stands! That being said… I have a super sad update we went to the restaurant on 8/6/2025 and the server was so damn rude and never came over to us and refilled our cups besides that the food came out in different times and the server argued over terminology of a club wrap for no reason. Truly what a horrible experience. And I didn’t even get to order my food correctly. Causing me to go up front to have it corrected. Besides that the bread given came out with nothing no dipping sauce. The atmosphere is sour and leaving a nasty taste in my mouth. Just a total 360’ experience that makes me want to walk out the door and never come back!!!! I will only come back when the SERVER “NIC” is working she is awesome!
My experience today at this restaurant was one of great joy the server that I had today “Nic” was extremely kind, she was very attentive and listen to everything that we had to say, and was very professional and polite. She made us feel welcomed and special. We always had our drinks filled and our food was hot and quick. The service today is going to be one of the reasons why I come back to this restaurant. The food was phenomenal. The soup was clam chowder today and it was delicious. We had wings and wraps. Everything was top-notch and worth it. If you’re in the local area of East Windsor or you just want a great place to eat in the upstate part of Connecticut come stop off at this restaurant and ask for the server “Nic” she will not disappoint with her amazing and welcoming attitude. Thank you so much for your service and your hard work.

I love coming to Sofia’s. They have quick and fast service no matter what time of the day it is. The food is always delicious and come out fresh. Today I order a chicken ceaser with ranch. It was extremely good. I had the clam chowder for the soup of the day. They make the soups everyday and is always fresh and delicious. The wings are always super good with buffalo sauce. I would reccomend this place if you are in town.

Wow!!! Huge portions of phenomenal food. My friend kept telling me about this place and I finally went tonight. As the servers passed I kept looking at all the food and was blown away because not only did EVERYTHING look delicious, the portions were huge. I’m already planning to take my brother next time I go. He loves pork chops and Sofia’s were tender and juicy. Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Reasonably priced. Way to get my attention Sofia’s!

Fried Calamari was $18.95 on 5-10-25. Advertised as “with tentacles”, but it was just all prepackaged rings (the cheaper portion of the squid). Food came out fast and warm. I don’t think the interior has been updated since the 80’s.

The staff is super nice and very attentive to making sure your dining experience is spot on. Sampling of some of the meals my wife and I have had are, chicken parmigiana, fish and chips, stuffed eggplant, eggplant parmigiana, calamari marinara, calamari Luciano. Love all of it never leave hungry, generous portions. Delicious meals.

I was just there about 30 minutes ago and I was waiting to be seated it was 3 host 1 out the 3 was training another and so the one host who was free just kept looking at me and looking around as if she don’t see me the stood by the window. A older white couple were walking up and she had menus in tow ready to seat them. As the party of 3 approached the door I held it open for them and asked the host what’s wrong this place don’t service black ppl and she replied with “I thought you were here for pick up” now that’s so far from the truth cause you looked at me about 7 times and not once asked that question. So I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone of the African American race. And what’s so sad is that I pass this restaurant everyday on my way to work and always wanted to bring my wife I glad I found out the truth before I did so -10 stars and I will be contacting the better business bureau cause I was truly offended.
