For a little restaurant, they did an amazing job on breakfast. The food felt good to eat, like it was made with care and quality. Also, We were a big group. 8 people, 5 of which were kids. The kids didn’t feel like an intrusion. They got chocolate chip banana pancakes. They were mouthwatering. The eggs Benedict and omelets were also delicious. I recommend to all!!

Just moved to the area and tried it out based on google reviews. The place is very clean but to quiet I thought I was in a funeral home it was kind of weird if you like hearing yourself think then it’s a great place for you. The quality of the food was really good the only problem we had was the service was a little bad, the waitress took our order dropped off the food and that was it never came around to ask how was everything or if we needed anything such as more to drink. I pretty much ate half my breakfast with no drink and yes we had to flag her down to get a drink after half my breakfast was gone . The other waitress that we didn’t have was flying around to all of her tables so I think we just got the younger one who was less attentive to our needs. The main problem was the time it took to get our food it’s a small place there weren’t that many people inside eating so it wasn’t packed . It took 30 minutes to get our food so unfortunately based on the inattentive service and the time it takes to get your food I won’t be back. But once again the food was really good so if you’re not in a rush to eat , enjoy a really quiet atmosphere and decent service then I would recommend . I personally wouldn’t but to each there own. Also they only accept cash ? just fyi

I ordered a bagel with cream cheese where they forgot to give me cream cheese so when I got home I was upset. I tried to call 3 times and no one picked up. I went back to get my cream cheese and informed her she forgot to give it to me. As I was unhappy. She came back 5 minutes later smirking saying have a good day. First of all no apology. Sending that was rude. I never write reviews but I paid for a disgusting cold breakfast and no one on their mistake and no one tried to rectify this. Never going here again.

Sophia’s breakfast is good clean quality food from a nice family run business. Breakfast is great. Lots of regulars and locals in the restaurant happy to tell you stories.

We came to Ipswich for a little weekend getaway, and our first stop was to Sofia’s for breakfast. We chose Sofia’s based on Google reviews and were very pleased with our choice. Several tables of regulars, which I always take as a good sign. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was terrific. Portions were very generous and prices were good. I would definitely come again for breakfast or to try lunch.

First time here and I am a customer for life. The 1st thing I noticed is how much space they have and they even had a breakfast counter with stools. This place is kept so clean, unlike any diner I’ve been to. I’m not sure you can call it a diner. Staff was so friendly and the order came out quick. The eggs Benedict are among the best I ever had. Love the home fries that came with. Had a parking spot right in front but there’s plenty of parking in back. I know Sofia’s has been here for a long time and I hope it continues to bring in more first timers to support it. Update! I have been back many times and still love this place!

Every other breakfast place around has a line out the door. This place has the opportunity to do the same but falls flat on its face. To the owners, go to some other local places and see what you get for your money and then compare it to yours. Come on. Do better!
