I am revising my review. There is no denying the food is excellent. My favorites include chicken parmesan (veal and eggplant are also excellent) and the sausage and lentil appetizer. In the past, I thought the management/staff needed to adjust how they treated customers. I think the adjustment was made and we are always warmly greeted. If you’re ever looking to order takeout, I highly suggest Sofia because they offer 20% off, the portions are large, and they offer bread with any entree which is also excellent.
For eat in, it’s a nice place to be, but could use a few changes. When I watch “Restaurant Impossible” on the Food Network, I often think of this place. If the decor was updated and the menu streamlined a bit, they would see a full house every night of the week. Please don’t let that stop you from going because they have the best Italian food in the area!

Good: inspired menu, nice dining room.
Bad: menu not executed well, lack seasoning, quality and freshness of ingredients questionable.
Ugly: waiter/waitresses lacking class, yelling to each other across the dining room, throwing things on the table next to us and ripping cardboard 1ft from my head while doing the bar trash.

We ventured here on a Saturday night. It was crowded with a party of 15+ celebrating someone’s birthday. The staff was overwhelmed but did their best to accommodate us which was appreciated.
The food however was another story. I had a special that was chicken breast and risotto. It was a tasteless mess with the chicken seasoned only with salt and pepper. There was some sort of brown sauce covering the dish which added zero flavor. The risotto was actually mashed potatoes which’s we’re accompanied with steamed broccoli. The wait staff did replace my mash potatoes with risotto about 45 minutes into the meal.
I do recall this place having great food but it was not reflected on this night. Especially since they charge top notch prices for their food, I expected so much more.
My advice is to stay away.

This is our “go to place” for Friday night date night. Owners Vincenzo and Emma are the best! We enjoy a nice glass of wine and relax while our meals are made from scratch – fresh, hot and delicious. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is warm and family-friendly and the layout makes it easy for us to have an intimate conversation and/or laugh in a larger group of friends and family. Come join us there!
