Overall it’s a nice enough diner with plenty of options. Attentive, polite and prompt service. We initially wanted to order corn nuggets, potato pancakes and a French onions soup. They were out of potato pancakes and the server let us know they were subbing tater tots, so we gave that a pass. The corn nuggets were good. The French onion was OK. Not the traditional French onion, but again it’s a diner. Flavor was weak, and it was warm, not hot. Plenty of melted cheese but not broiled and golden brown. Topped with onion straws that had a good flavor but were rubbery rather than crunchy. We also ordered a gyro with French fries and a side of gravy and the senior porch chop dinner with mashed potatoes. The fries were hot and fresh, a crispy type but still soft on the inside. The gravy was definitely seemed like the jarred kind and had a flavor to it that I couldn’t quite place. I had contemplated getting the poutine but am glad I didn’t. Overall the gravy is not a good match for the fries and I highly recommend getting it on the side to taste it first. It was OK with the pork chops, but again if I did it all over again I wouldn’t get it on any of my food directly. The pork chops were well cooked, tender and had good flavor. The gyro was OK. The meat had some chewy spots but there was plenty along with toppings and feta. We also got a peanut butter pie to go, which was very good. We were there on a Saturday around 5 and there was plenty of parking. It did start to fill up a little later, but all seats at the counter were still open. It’s family friendly as well. The window sills next to booths could use a wipe down. Their shirts are fun and they do sell them for a reasonable price, $20.

The first time at this spot, I loved it, I got a Belgium waffle with chocolate chips and strawberries, the waffle was light and yummy, the fruit was fresh, and the bacon was cooked just right.

Great Diner! We enjoyed a nice lunch here and would recommend this place if you’re looking for some good home cooked eats or a hankering some ice cream or Soda Jerk sodas or egg cream. Scrumptious

Upon walking in, our group felt immediately unwelcome. We continued on and ordered drinks. Two people in our group ordered sweet teas but received colored water. After informing the waitress that the syrup in the machine must be out, she went to check. The waitress stated they are in fact sold out and offered us substitutes. We proceeded to order our food. It was mediocre. I would not eat here again. I also wanted to note, a member of our group found a metal shaving from what seems to be a stainless steel scrubber in his food. This was found when boxing up the leftovers. We did not address with staff though, we paid and left. Do not recommend this establishment. Will not be back.

Great fun little diner! We loved the touch of retro 50’s (ish) design. We sat at the counter and enjoyed ourselves pretty thoroughly. The food was good and hit the spot. My poached egg were just that poached. Wife got the chipped beef, which was good. and the daughter got some stuffed French toast special. Fast friendly and very reasonable pricing. It gets the four stars because they have a different definition our stuffed, look at the picture and the lady working the resigster didn’t know how to properly process card correctly and cause a back up in trying to leave. (Another worker and came handled the cards promptly). This was in December.

The atmosphere is great. The employees were very friendly and great to talk to. If you come from a different country for Hersey Park, it will be a good experience to eat at an American diner like here.

We had our Grandkids with us from out of town and the waitress took us to a back room with the noisiest kids ever known to man. One child did nothing but scream & cry the entire time. The other children were loud, obnoxious and no manners. Our waiter did not listen to our orders. My husband ordered his ham loaf without pineapple and raisins, his meal came with the items on his food. The server was waiting on tables both inside and outside while three girls stood around chit chatting at the front counter. My Liver was burnt with burnt chunks. My two girls split a full stack and the server brought it on three plates and told me I ordered it for three kids.

It is diner food so nothing really made it stand out to me food wise. I did like the service. Waiter was good. He remembered everyone orders and refilled our drinks without being asked to.

A Sooper dooper cute diner not too far from Hershey Park with a strong 50s vibe exactly like its name implies. There was a 10 minute wait on the rainy midday we went there but service was fast and the wait felt typical for any popular local joint. The food though was distinctly Not That Special. I got the patty melt and a chocolate egg cream and the hamburger seemed to have been premade and the fried onions were excessively greasy. The egg cream was enh but still cost $5. I don’t even think they really blended it. The meatballs on the spaghetti had been microwaved so hot that they were on the hard side and burnt my kid’s mouth. My partner loved his meatloaf meal though and the garden side salad looked fresh and plentiful. All of this left me with the impression that the place could be good if you know what to order from the book like menu. I didn’t ask for a recommendation and ended up regretting it.
