Person taking our order seemed lost and just started into space without responding to questions we asked. It was a bit awkward. Food was decent. However, we were not informed that Enchiladas are extra spicy and when we asked for sour cream to help calm spiciness down we were informed they didn’t have any. Instead we were told that’s how they are made.

My last time in the restaurant 2018 I stopped by to pick up tortillas for my dad he was in the last stage of the cancer and he want hand made tortillas I ordered 12 tortillas and I was waiting for more of one hour for the tortillas I ask the lady in the cashier why take to long to get the tortillas and she told me was many people doing orders of food to go I saw she was taking care of the clients what coming after my before of my they giving the food at the moment just for my dad last wishes I was waiting to make my dad happy,. Just be aware no one here speaks english, and if you do speak only english, they still reply to you in spanish, so you legit have no idea what they are saying to you. My order was $12.87 for a carne asada burrito, I gave a 20$ bill and 3 1$ bills so I can get a 10$ bill in return with the remaining 13 cents, I didnt notice until I left but the lady gave me 7$ and 13 cents, even though making a small mistake of not double checking the change she gave back to me after I left, this shouldnt be an issue from the start and the cashier should know how to count change and not leave the customer wondering why they gave short change, they basically scammed me of 3$ paying $15.87 for a single burrito, rather than the original $12.87 that the actual price of the burrito is. Money is money, and if giving customers short change is an issue here this is the last time I ever return here.

I have been there many times before and it was right, but at this time everything was diferent,starting with the sevice, the girl who was taking orders asking me if I has an order for pick up and I say yes, she ask what it was and I say what was the order, for any reason she doesnt hear properly and I repeat it, start taking bad attitude feeling offended without resan.
well the food was terrible, I order a combination plate of birria and I was getting beef stew with liquid chili none birria flavor and serve it in a short container causing it spilling in the way back home, so my dinner was just terrible

The lady with the funky face has the WORST attitude.
I know Spanish. I’m half Indian and half Mexican but I look straight Indian. So she thinks I don’t know Spanish, and she straight said “I hate that girl”. So not only does she talk bad about her customers, she will literally stare at you while you eat. She’s terrible and the workers around her are super nice but seem scared of her. It’s really sad. The place is gross and dirty. Tacky decorations. It’s sad bc I come all the time and the last is just always rude. No longer will I be coming.

No chips and salsa, but food tastes good. Handmade tortillas are simply delicious! We tried the chicken mole, gorditas, grilled chicken plate, flautas and steak ranchero as well as quesadillas. We were a large party. The reasons I didn’t give this place a higher rating is because the seating arrangement is limited to a max of 5 per table. The waitress wasn’t writing down our meal options and would forget. The place is a little torn down from wear and tear, but bathroom was clean. Average plate is about $11 and drinks about $3.50 each. I’d go back but not for sit down, more for pick up only.

My experience at Socorro’s. If you are not aware of what’s going on you are there to be taken. I ordered a burrito mojado great! This burrito was served with 40% steam chicken and 60% of lettuce inside with greased on top of the burrito . That’s all I order .No price to show on the menu bord above. Prices where erase. I paid over $18.00. Almost $20 for a veggie burrito that I never plan to order.
