Very disappointed. We love Soco Grill and thought we’d try the pizza. Nope. It was super, super thin with zero crunch. More like floppy wet grease. We ordered the meat pizza (added mushrooms and onions). The toppings were lackluster and not the quantity you’d expect for the price. It was unanimously decided that when we want pizza, we’ll stick to the big kahuna at Ultimate California Pizza. Also bad that you pay $8 for garlic knots and don’t get marinara sauce unless you pay extra. One upside was the dry rub wings were great!!! Pizza…pass. There’s better out there.

The pizzas were excellent, one was half pepperoni/half cheese and the other was the Italian nightmare. But we started the dinner with garlic knots, everyone at the table really liked them. If you’re in Georgetown and want a great pizza give this place a try.

Great Happy Hour $3 Meatball, $2 Slices of Pizza good draft selection! Had Wings, Giant Meatballs, and Pizza! Pizza Wood Fired great crust and flavor! Wing done perfectly could have used some more sauce. Had Garlic Parm and M. BBQ. Meatball sauce was spot on. Caroline behind the bar was fantastic and really good atmosphere! Lot bigger inside than you would expect. Thursday night ended up having to leave but had Karaoke starting.

Just happen to see the sign and so happy we did. I ordered the So CO’s Meatball Pasta and hubby ordered the Nightmare pizza!! Delicious!! Meatballs had very little filling – all meat. Pizza had an extreme amount of toppings. Photos are after we stopped eating!!

We saw that this restaurant had good reviews and the photos of the pizza looked good, however, our experience wasn’t the best. We ordered take out, and as we were driving home, we looked into the box and saw that the pizza didn’t look anything like the photos we saw online. The dough was extra flat, the cheese wasn’t bubbly or melted like you’d expect from a wood fired pizza restaurant.
We spent close to $40 for chewy(Hawaiian was very chewy and floppy.. if it’s going to be so flat, at least have a crunch) and undercooked pizza( the Italian pizza’s toppings seem like they weren’t even cooked in the fire but look like they were thrown on afterwards). Very unfortunate. We had such high hopes. I’m giving two stars because hopefully this was a fluke, but it being a Saturday night, I’m unsure.

Waitress was prompt and friendly. They had a good selection of excellent craft beers. Beer, pizza and wings were all excellent. We’ll definitely be going back.

Would like to give more stars but was really disappointed. Our waitress seemed over worked and she kept forgetting about us, we had to remember her a couple times for things we ordered. For the food: the pizza was good, but when the pasta finally came out, it was not done and chewy. We said something buy got a ‘guess we’ll see what they will do about it response.’

Ordered takeout – this is by far the worst experience in food or what they call pizza. Please do yourself a favor and steer clear. I can’t believe an establish would let this go out the door with a customer.

I typically do not leave negative reviews, as you never know if you’ve caught an establishment on a bad day. That being said, these pizzas were beyond disappointing. We ordered 2 of their specialty pizzas, The Italian Nightmare and The Hawaiian, to take out, and both were Nightmares. Toppings on both were minimal to non-existent. The crust was dry and tasteless, unless you consider flour an appropriate “taste” for pizza crust, and I’m not sure that real cheese was used, if that is possible. Nothing gooey or melty on these pies. Additionally, both pizzas were not correctly cooked – the pies had char marks in a few places and un-melted cheese all over! These were truly the worst pizzas I have ever experienced. I typically won’t leave any review if I don’t like the food at a particular place, because taste can be relative to the particular diner. However, there are certain universal constants to rating a good pizza and these pizzas did not meet a single one! Plus, at $16.00+ per pizza, these pies were not cheap. I feel our money would have been better spent buying a couple (or more) frozen pizzas at the local grocery store.

Ordered two pizzas for take out. One with all kinds of meat. The other Hawaiian. My honest advice is to head down to the local grocery store, walk to the freezer section and get a Red Baron! Sorry, but this pizza was not good. Crust bottom covered with uncooked flour, crust as dry and flavorless as cardboard and half the cheese wasn’t melted. Not to mention they put banana peppers on the Hawaiian pizza. Who does that? I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but if I can save one person from wasting their hard earned cash, then my review will have served its purpose. Get a frozen pizza, or just try a different place. This truly was awful. We never have left over pizza…i think we threw out the equivalent of one whole pizza. No pictures to offer, either. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but decided to after second thought.
I can’t tell you how the service or atmosphere were cause the pizza was take out.
