The decor is welcoming, rather large inside. Service was good and enjoyed catching up with friends. I expected more from the food, portion balancing and taste. It was not a bad experience, but I expected more from the price point and area. Presentation is strong with average cocktails. Dessert was ‘ok’ too. Not sure I’d visit. Street parking ️ is like winning a scratch off. There is a sometimes free lot a couple blocks off, called Pearl Street Parking Lot.

Service was outstanding. My girlfriend was unsure of what to order for her first drink and our server Roxie gave her a great recommendation that she thoroughly enjoyed. Food was exceptional, and despite having a tree nut allergy and anxiety every time we go out to eat we were reassured above expectations. overall a wonderful dining experience with excellent service. What a great way to end this holiday weekend! The margarita pizza was out this world and we will definitely be returning. Cheers

I have spent lots of time here when I have visited Boston on business.
The food is consistently good, the staff are always friendly and offer a warm welcome.
Fabio (manager?) Leah, Stephen, Melissa, Angie,John and the team are great and also make me feel at home when I am far from home.
I would highly recommend coming to try the food and cocktails here while watching sport on their 6 screens, showing: NBA, NFL, NHL and even premier league Soccer (for the Brits ).
The weekends tend to be a bit more lively, they have a live band from time to time.

I had a fantastic experience at The Social Restaurant and Bar, located in the Four Points Sheraton. The service was excellent, but the real star of the show was the food.
I’m a bit of a clam chowder connoisseur, and I’ve had some of the best in the country—from Legal Sea Foods and the historic Union Oyster House in Boston to Pike Place Market and All Water Seafood & Oyster Bar in Seattle. I can confidently say that the clam chowder at The Social Restaurant is right up there with the very best I’ve ever tasted. It was a truly memorable and delicious dish.

I’ve only been down this road once prior out of my hundreds of reviews. But, when I fly from Los Angeles to Boston being sold a hotel room with an open restaurant in a clean room, I kind of expect that. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Upon arrival I found that the restaurant was closed to a private party for the night. This was at 4:00 p.m. during their advertised open hours and there was absolutely no one inside. I was simply turned away by staff. You’ll find later, that I was also turned away when the private party was over during operational hours and still turned away. That’s at midnight when I was kind of lightheaded from low blood sugar throughout the day.
Maybe that could have been okay except that I was starving at that point and needed to meet somebody else there for a late lunch before a theater play. They’re closed restaurant didn’t really hurt anyone or cause anyone to starve to death. But, it was an extraordinary inconvenience and I did go hungry for that play and when I returned the party wasn’t even there anymore and they still still turn me away before closing time. There was only one person at the front desk, only one person in charge of the entire hotel, plenty of staff in the restaurant.
Okay that sucked, but when I went upstairs and saw the grossness of my room I began to wonder if I should be asking for a refund. Yes some of the pictures I’ve attached show dirty Wash clothes and wet toilet rolls. Wash cloths with brown gross stuff on them. Toilet paper rolls with wet fingerprints on them. Super duper not cool. This review marks only the second review of my entire career that is not on the positive side. That should tell you something. You can come here but you don’t know what you’re going to get, and chances are that won’t be food and a clean room. I wanted to start crying but there was only one or two decorative tissues in the Kleenex box. Got to be kidding me man.

Came for the Red Sox vs Astros game, so the night we got it came across the Social Restaurant & Bar, we had great service along with a great meal, the calamari excellent, the wing great! The Bishop burger was one of the best burger i have had, was very satisfied and left very full. Great overall service and excellent food. Tell all my friend in Texas about the food, so when we come back they can experience it for themselves. The old fashion was great as well

Great neighborhood place with quality rivaling any city restaurant. These guys recently set up nice sidewalk seating, very pleasant on a summer evening. If you haven’t been here ever, or even recently, it’s time to pop over. I’ll confess that we pigged out but it was yummy and we hadn’t been out to eat recently so… Between us, we put away three cocktails, two dozen oysters, three lobster sliders, a plate of fried calamari, half of a platter of steak tips with double portion of Brussels sprouts, and a Coke.

Had a good lunch here with my girlfriend. The restaurant was almost empty so they had a few staff working but they were all friendly and took care of us. The food was really good we thought (we each got a burger). The restaurant space is beautiful and spacious. Overall a great meal.

Turkey dinner here with family made 2023 Thanksgiving a memorable occasion. The meal was full of flavor and had more than expected when it came to sides. Appetizer, main course, and dessert was filling and worth every penny.
