I had their chicken bites and my wife had a pulled pork sandwich. We both had potato wedges as our side. The chicken bites were very moist, tender, and very flavorful. My wife’s pulled pork was also very moist and tender with great favor. The sauce that came with both our meals was fantastic. The potato wedges were about the best we’ve ever had anywhere. No need to dip in ketchup in my opinion. Both our meals were lunch specials at a very reasonable price.

My wife and I dined here. All I have to say is the food was top notch! I got the double smash burger and potato wedges. One of the best burgers I have ever had. I will be back when I make it over to Michigan city again.

Was driving through town with my sister and decided to get a bite to eat before head home to indianapolis.
We appreciated the help understanding the menu and items that wernt available at the moment. We ordered 2 smash burgers and some brisket with fries and Mac n cheese and banana pudding. Everything was delicious, the brisket was some of the best I’ve ever had and the sauce was flavorful and balanced. Reading reviews it seems I should have tried the potato wedges too but we definitely will next time!

It’s smaller inside than I expected but it’s a small business. Very cozy and pretty sure they open up the big garage door in the summer when it’s warm. The food was phenomenal and I 100% will be going there again. The people there are very friendly and made me feel taken care of even though they were slammed with orders.

As soon as we walked in, we was greeted. Service was prompt and wait time for food minimal. A lot of carry out and mobile orders as well at dinner time. I had the Ultimate Grilled cheese with Brisket(amazing). He had the 1/2 slab of ribs and chicken quarter. Smoked to perfection! Highly recommend trying this place out!!

Was passing through from Point and got the urge for some Q, so after scanning the area, we landed at Social Que. I must say I was impressed by the interior setup. From the outside, this place is so unassuming, and then when you walk in, it’s like WHOA…OK! in a good way. The young lady got us in and out fast, which is what I like & other places could learn from them. The food was good, I’ve had better, but the only thing that held back the 5 was the sauce. OMG, it was like eating spiked ketchup. I always say keep it simple, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel, just do what others in the industry are doing and “borrow” some ideas, mix and match up something to create your own greatness and that will elevate Social Que to the next level in my opinion and would be the premier spot in Michigan City. I’ll be back!

My mom had rib tip specially with macaroni cheese she loved it. Macaroni wasn’t no factory made bs that was homemade seasoned perfectly. Definitely will be back!!

Well now. Saw some stellar BBQ reviews and naturally took that as my own personal invite. Acknowledged soon as we walked in so that was nice. Apparently, they only do bottled drinks which doesn’t bother me a whit. Joint was empty. O this building! Gorgeous! Retro industrial with exposed brick, old garage door as front window, tin molded ceiling. LOVE! Moist toilettes trotted out straight off = promising sign. We ordered banana pudding. Fresh made, the real thing and excellent. O course I got sliced brisket, fries n greens. SO got burger n fries and we got ribs for later. Fries very yummy. Crispy outside, soft n steamy on the inside. Greens were also the real thing. Very nice. That burger! I got one bite and SO disappeared it within 90 seconds. It was great. Crunchy edges, nice juicy fat content. Yaaass. Ribs, eh. Weren’t knockin our sox off, not very meaty, this batch. Sauce was interesting. Unique. We quite enjoyed it. It wasn’t oversweet or too vinegary. It had a nice back heat and not overpowering. Indeed, it was a nice complement but—- not necessary. Exactly as a sauce should be. Main point o course, is the brisket. Ahh brisket. These were big phat slabs o meat! Just lookin at em is visually satisfying. Nice bark depth, outside hada generous seasoning crust. Taste- yes. They were soft, meat falling apart just right, def not dry or in need o sauce, which is what bad bbq joints rely on so customers can actually swallow dry brisket. This brisket is Good. Actually ordered a pound to go. Do NOT nuke to reheat. Foil + hot plate on low n slow and it’s almost as good as fresh. 😉
I can vow this grub will indeed inspire in you the urge to strike your maternal parental figure. (slap ye mama for u yanks 😉
Highly recommend.

First time there, smelled awesome when going in. You could smell the smoke from the meat. Everything on the menu sounded good. I just got the brisket and my friend got pulled pork and chicken. Everything tasted amazing. Nothing was too dry. BBQ sauce wasn’t needed but it tasted good as well. Definitely going back
