Walking in, the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. The interior is modern and clean, and there’s outdoor patio seating that’s ideal when the weather’s nice—something you don’t see everywhere in smaller towns.
The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and kept our drinks full without being intrusive, which set the tone for a very pleasant evening.
The menu here is impressive in both variety and quality. I kicked things off with the Blackened Mango Shrimp Salad, a refreshing dish with vibrant flavors, then moved on to the All American Burger & Fries that was juicy and satisfying with perfectly crisp fries on the side.

My partner’s Philly Cheese Steak was equally delicious—loaded with tender meat and melty cheese, exactly as it should be.
The full bar offers great cocktails and local beers, making it easy to pair your meal with something refreshing.
For dessert, you can’t go wrong with the Toffee Butter Cake—rich, sweet, and a perfect end to the meal.
Service was attentive and friendly, and even on a busy night our food came out hot and well-timed. The relaxed yet upbeat atmosphere makes it a fun place to linger long after the last bite. If you’re in or around Warrenton and craving American comfort food with a creative twist, Social House 227 is absolutely worth a stop!
The food was good and the service was good.
Large selection of food items and portions were nice size.
We will go back and try some of the other items on the menu.
I had a sandwich with deli meat, bacon, avocado, tomato and lettuce poowith fries, both were great. And the portions were were very generous.
My friend had the French dip with roast beef sandwich.
We both had the potato soup which was very different. It was very salty and had a chili seasoning like broth. It also had melted cheddar cheese and the potato chunks were fairly large. I think if had not been so salty it would have been very good and a lot better.
Jade was very personable, very efficient and accommodating. The menu prices were very reasonable.
The restaurant itself was very clean and well decorated. There are plenty of TV’s and a beautiful bar area.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
The salads we got with dinner were also wonderful. They were huge, filled with mixed greens and other toppings, and so much better than other places where you get iceberg lettuce and maybe 2 croutons. The quality and attention to detail were really noticeable here.
The steak my husband had could have been been a better ribeye, and my baked ziti was better than mediocre, but we will definitely be back. The menu has a perfect mix to suit my picky family….and I’ll definitely be back for the chocolate martini!
The food is all incredible, not surprisingly they source a lot of their products from local businesses.
The fried mozzarella is superb starter and the fresh, and cheese pull is one of a kind!!! French dip is top 3 I have had in the entire country hands down. The bread is simply incredible and so fresh tasting I can’t explain it but definitely my top go to for my order.
Can’t recommend it enough
Chanda is the best and gave us a great dinner service, ask for her!
Spicy garlic shrimp was excellent!
Homade hot sauce for the wings also very good.
Mussels very good as well.
Excellant Brussel spouts.
Kelly our bartender gave exceptional service. !!
Can’t wait to try everything on the menu, which has alot of choices for every taste.
Pizza’s and steak sound like something we gotta try.
We ordered crispy fish sandwhich, greek wrap, and fried mozzarella. The wrap was good, fries crispy. The fish was OK, maybe a bit undersized, but the tarter sauce was good.
The kitchen was a bit slow, but our waitress made up for it.
Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite, and 1 small town at a time.
