This has been my favorite spot in town since they opened. The owner strived to create a place where people of all walks of life can sit down, get a drink, some good food and get to know one another. I think they’ve nailed it. I’ve met a lot of great people and made several lasting friendships by coming here regularly. Bring your good vibes, you’ll have a good time.

We made an online reservation (on their website) and was charged a $25 deposit, which was supposed to be refunded or applied to our bill. When we arrived, it turned out to be a “seat yourself” place, and the staff told us they don’t actually take reservations. No one seemed to know what was going on or how to help, and they weren’t able to figure out where our $25 went. The waitress said there wasn’t a manager there that night. Overall, it was confusing and frustrating — definitely not an experience I’d want to repeat. Super bummer because we’ve liked it prior to last night.

The corn dogs are amazing!! Along with a variety of tots that are delicious! Highly recommended the Leeman Tots, yummy. Atmosphere is perfect and we love Tuesday game night. Awesome mocktail choices too. I’ve missed Brunswick having this type of casual pub atmosphere. We have been at least 8+ times!!

Outrageous pricing. Came in the other night with a group of friends and ordered pitchers of Miller lite. We assumed there was a mistake when we got the bill at $30 a pitcher. Turns out that was the actual price. Absolute robbery.

We’ve been in the Brunswick area for about 8 years now, and have tried many different places with simple bar food, and this was BY FAR, hands down, the best we’ve had to date.
Great service, very friendly, and the waitress Emma was very knowledgeable and quick with the order. Didn’t even need to write it down.
Wings and cheese curds for apps were delicious, smash burgers were cooked to perfection, still a little pink with those crispy edges. Chicken fingers and onion rings are hand breaded to perfection. We got there around 6, and cashed our by 6:30. I just cannot get over how good this little place is. We’re not drinkers, but they had quite the beverage menu, and the game room with pool tables seemed like fun. Cant wait to go back.

Looking for somewhere with a good vibe and decent priced food? Don’t come here! My sister bought food through DoorDash to pick up at The Social Goose. The told her the order could not be completed due to bad lobster meat. ($130 order by the way.) So when they called she told them she would like to cancel the cheese curds they also ordered so that they could all see what they wanted instead and make a new order. After telling the woman at The Social Goose several times she did not want the cheese curds anymore and to cancel the whole order, they told her to cancel through DoorDash. Well, she never got the chance to cancel it because when she went to cancel the order, The Social Goose had already went ahead and cooked the cheese curds. That she had said several times on the phone to not cook as she was going to cancel the order on the app. So she got charged $130 for an order she never received. She had called them several times in the last few days to get a refund and most of the time they would take down her name and number and management wouldn’t get back to her. Finally she reached management and they said they don’t have her money since they don’t get the money through DoorDash until the end of the month. (DoorDash isn’t giving her a refund since the order “was completed” on their end.) The Social Goose hasn’t offered her any sort of refund or solution (as of today) I have never been so appalled by customer service.
