Came for an early dinner on a Sunday. Plenty of space, tables, side dishes, and warm toasted rice tea. Service was quick. We ordered the Beef Bibimbap and Spicy Pork. The Bibimbap was so delicious. Since it’s in a stone pot, you get crispy rice at the end, which was the perfect snack.

I’ve reviewed this place already before but came back to update this place with more photos. Always a great lunch and dinner spot. The soondubu here is probably the best in Bergen county. Better than BCD and better than the other SGD in fort Lee and edgewater. For some reason, the food here in palisades park SGD is more tasteful and the atmosphere is also more like korea. Sometimes I go for less modern cause everything feels the same lately.

Delicious! Just ordered take out today at the Palisades Park, NJ location on the second floor and got the steamed dumplings, tofu stew and seafood pancake. Price was very reasonable and gave a good amount to feed at least two people. Restaurant seemed clean and busy at night. Gave reasonable amount of side dishes and packed well. Definitely recommend!

As a vegetarian, I’ve always appreciated SGD’s veggie soon tofu and curry soon tofu stews. Like all of their soft tofu stews, each comes served in a scalding hot pot that allows the soup within to burble long after it’s been deposited before you. The spice levels are customizable on a five point scale, ranging from ‘mild’ to ‘very spicy’. I love that the accompanying rice is served in a similar pot here (note: some Koreans like to pour water in here after they’ve scooped out the fresh rice to create a traditional congee-like rice porridge for the end of their meal).

Hands down the best Korean place I’ve tried. All other places lack in comparison. The seafood pancake is always on spot. Everything I’ve tried has been great. The galbi and the beef tofu soup are a must! I go back at least twice a month!!

One of my favorite sundubu spots. I’ve been going to them for years before SGD took it over. Their menu has remain relatively the same and it taste just as good. You can’t go wrong with any of their tofu soups. They let you customize the spice level. Their meat plates and pancakes are also pretty good but it doesn’t travel well for takeout. Due to Covid-19, they are takeout only and offer delivery via Grubhub, Uber, and DoorDash. They are located on the second floor of a old shopping mall and staff is nice and friendly.

I’ve been here multiple times and it’s time that I finally left a review. This place is very welcoming, attentive, and quick with the food delivery. You get a bunch of side dishes that are free which is always a plus. I’ve tried about 5 different tofu stews and can honestly say, no matter which one that you choose, it’ll taste amazing! Level 4 spicy is the highest I can go but level 3 is very moderate in spice. Great place for comfort food and I would highly recommend trying the cheesy corn. All in all, it’s always a 10/10 experience!!!
