Food is delicious but service is lacking. Wish they could check more often, the only one that actually checked on us was a gentleman and he wasn’t even our server.
My wife loves this place. Their soups and meats are very good. The inside is really good, employees are attentive, they serve you cold barley tea which is really cool. I’ll come here again to update my review and add more pictures, meanwhile please come to this establishment to support this business and get amazing Korean food for a reasonable price and perfect for this cold winter ❄️
Galbi was thin, but could have been less blackish.
Tofu soup was good too. Customer service and employees was welcoming and attentive to our needs.
Now, this is one of my favorite restaurants, an absolute gem! If you didn’t try it, don’t go-RUN. The food is phenomenal and from what I hear, authentic!
Also, their service is always spectacular, no complaints here.
The food is consistently hearty and delicious. Firstly, they offer a variety of banchans and will refill them, which I really appreciate because their variety brings more life to whatever entree you order! I’ve gotten the beef bibimbap in the hot stone bowl, and the crunch rice left at the bottom is amazing to chew after soaking up the juices from the veggies and sauce. I’ve gotten their tripe noodles, which are so hearty on a cold day, the tofu and bouncy noodle soup warming your stomach then your body. The beef ribs too, though a more simple dish, are seasoned perfectly to enjoy the sweet-umami of the ribs with a hot stone bowl of rice and onions on the side.
The service is exceptional; I’ve always feel welcomed and honestly felt like I was eating with a big family with the way the seating was. So Gong Dong offers seating for both small and large groups with private rooms in a different hall of the restaurant. I highly recommend taking your family or friends here to hangout and experience the hospitality and amazing Korean food.
This one has the best quality food, and friendliest service. Highly recommend!!!!!!
Everyone who works here are very friendly and kind that always make me feel good to come here.
Excellent fast service. Generous yummy complimentary banchan side dishes. You can always ask for more. I love it! A lot of soft tofu in soups. Mackerel fish is yummy. Hot barley tea is good but they shouldn’t put it in plastic cups. Yummy and nutritious. My favorite Korean restaurant in Suwanee.
Old review:
1st time here. Busy for a late lunch on a Tuesday lunch, but a good amount of tables. You can choose from water or barley tea. Meal came with 4 small Korean side dishes. Side dishes tasted great and fresh. Not too spicy or salty.
We ordered plain not spicy seafood noodle soup. The noodle tasted chewy and homemade. Disappointed that were was barely any seafood at all and soooo much soft tofu.
We ordered the seafood pancake, but once again it barely had any seafood (mostly small pieces of squid) or veggies in it. Oily.
The best place to have seafood pancake is still Jang Su Jang in Duluth!
Price is a bit high here too for the amount you get. Overall, it’s a good Korean restaurant in the Suwanee area.
