Late Post! Dinners with Dad (and Mom) Lunch Edition, ep 854…cheating on this one because I had lunch with them last Saturday while visiting…then flew through Atlanta on my way home from meetings in Tampa and we ate here again! Over the last 25yrs, soon dubu jigae restaurants have come and gone in Atlanta but this one, a chain from Korea, is like eating a meal in Korea, splatter apron and all! The ttukbaegis make the jigae scalding hot for your entire meal…both times I left with no feeling on my tongue…if you are in the mood for some soon dubu jigae, this is your best bet in the metro Atlanta area! Give them a shot if you’re in the area, in the Assi Market center off Old Peachtree…

Very good Korean place. Authentic Korean food. They offer tofu soup with Ramen or Noodles. Bibimbap is serviced on a hot plate. Great presentation!. The service are fast and good. The staffs are helpful. We will return.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. The Korean short ribs were poor quality—tough, dry, and lacking flavor. The short ribs overall did not meet expectations, especially considering the price.
On top of that, the customer service was not great. When I politely asked if I could use the restroom earlier, the woman working there paused and looked at me in a judgmental way before responding, which made the situation uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but between the food quality and the service, this experience fell short. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both.

One of favorite places to eat Sundubu-jjigae. The Sundubu-jjigae comes piping hot and simply tastes great. We usually pair this with the grilled Mackerel, which in itself is one more reason why you need to eat here. The Mackerel is grilled, juicy and full of flavor. This place is always busy and lot of locals eat here. The service is fast, the waiters are friendly and prices are reasonable. All in all, a nice local restaurant.

Hands down! The BEST service ever!! They are always so generous with their side dishes! The cucumber was sooo good so we had to get it 3 times
We tried the 칼국수 (Kal-guksu, korean noodle) instead of the soup and rice, and it was pleasantly delicious! I ordered the Roe, my parents ordered the beef and my partner ordered seafood, and they were all equally delicious! The portion size was huge and it was soo much more filling than rice in my opinion!
They also make 누룽지 (Scorched rice) by pouring water for you in the ceramic that contains rice and it’s a nice little snack after the meal!
ALSO, if you like fish, I’d highly recommend their grilled mackerel. It’s so juicy and full of savory meat! It’s just heavenly!!

I love eating here. Every time I come here, the waiters/waitresses are so nice. You have many ways to customize your soup from their menu. They provide you an egg too that you can crack into your soup. I also like that they serve hot tea if you don’t want water.
