I tried this place for the first time yesterday and already came back for the second time today.
The food is delicious! I had tacos and ceviche yesterday and came back to try the aguachiles today because I couldn’t stop thinking about that ceviche.
To get mariscos, and the ambience in general, this good I would normally have to drive down to San Diego or to LA. I am so glad this place exists in Murrieta and I plan to come back a lot more!

This is my first time trying this place but my Ex offered lunch for my Birthday so tacos sounded great! I was pretty happy with the food and it sure filled me up with a few fries and the three street tacos alone!
Here is what I ordered:
1 Carne Asada Street Taco
1 Chicken Street Taco
1 Al Pastor Street Taco
1/2 order of Carne Asada Fries
As a whole I enjoyed each taco and tried the meat before I ate it. Pretty good flavor and not overly salty. I like Cilantro so I wish there was a bit more of that. I elected to mix the Red and Green sauce provided. I run heavy on the stuff and two each was plenty for the three tacos. Not even close to enough if you want to add to fries so I added my own. No complaints on fries! Tasty and cooked well with a great balance of meat. If you have not tried this place, check them out! I ordered in so I would bet it is way better with Dine-In service!

we were in the area and had a craving for some al pastor tacos and found this location after a quick search online. i actually ended up going with the breakfast burrito instead and it was a great decision because it was huge and fresh tasting. we will be back in the near future for their taco tuesday special or the happy hour that we saw

I visited the new location by Aldi’s yesterday and I LOVE it. I’ve always found the food to be amazing so this review is long overdue. I’m from Chula Vista where I grew up with so many amazing taco shops. I moved to the area about 3 and a half years ago and have found too many taco shops disappointing. Carne with no flavor, beans bland, salsa not tasting like anything, etc. A friend recommended SoCal Tacos & Beer to me so my boyfriend and I checked it out. Holy cow it was amazing. The tacos, the surf and turf burrito, the carne everything I’ve tried has been incredible. I’ve been obsessed with birria for years and was so happy the one they have here is delicious. Every single employee that has helped us has had incredible customer service.
I was so excited to hear they were opening a new location and was eager to see the outcome. We finally made it yesterday, it didn’t disappoint. It gives a perfect SoCal feel. We sat in the outdoor seating, the sun felt amazing. I got the steak and egg breakfast burrito, my boyfriend got the campechana cocktail, it was the best I’ve ever tried. The octopus was cooked perfectly! The shrimp, as well. It was the perfect blend of citrus and salt. My burrito was sooo delicious. The steak was cook so nicely. The eggs and cheese I got the sour cream on the side, that’s why it isn’t visible on my photo. The margarita flight was an amazing deal and all of them were so delicious. We got the Paloma, watermelon, blueberry and mango. 20/10 would recommend you try it out here. I’ll be back many more times.

The very generous portions were well worth the price. Free chips and perfect salsa at the table were much appreciated. I recommend the pastor and asada meats, but I’m sure any choice won’t disappoint you. I love the feel of the place, the artwork on the walls is welcoming. We will definitely revisit next time in town.

My 15 year old son and I came here. This is our third time there. We really like the food even though it’s a little pricey. We enjoy the atmosphere.

Food was extremely cheesey which isnt a bad thing, but it masked the flavor of the meat in the steak quesadilla. Asada fries were pretty on point and a decent sized portion for only being a half tray. The fajita meal with steak was overall ok, nothing to brag about but I wouldnt mind getting it again. Horchata was extremely sweet. $50 for 1/2 tray of asada fries, steak quesadilla, steak fajitas, a kids cheese quesadilla, and large horchata…slightly overpriced but not so far out of whats to be expected for that quantity. Our waitress also saod we would get our sides of sourcream and chips and salsa, but it never showed up. There is no salsa bar any more.

No Salsa bar, No chips, No Nice people. I regret my two tacos. I wish I had a good experience as I did 5 years ago when i felt welcomed and they had free chips. I’m white….I ordered to go. Both cook and manager couldn’t get past the fact I ordered from here. On top of that, this is a second location the original location had free chips and salsa. Btw whos the idiot that built these .5 miles apart? Litteraly .5 miles and you couldnt even get the chips there?
