We recently stopped through with our family of five and spent around $60. Overall, it was just okay – but for that price point, we expected better.

The burgers were decent but not great. The buns were soggy and not toasted, which made the sandwiches feel thrown together. Nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either.

The bigger issue was value and service. Kids meals were $8.25 and didn’t include a drink or ice cream, which feels steep for a drive-thru order. For comparison, other food spots charge less and include more. When you’re paying premium pricing, the experience should reflect that.

The younger blonde employee at the drive-thru wasn’t friendly and didn’t seem interested in being there. No smile, no warmth – just transactional. That makes a difference.

We were also missing napkins and forks, which just added to the overall frustration.

It feels like the diner has become more complicated than it used to be, with more rules and higher prices but not necessarily better quality. We’d love to see more focus on consistency, customer service, and overall value.

Updated Review:

After reading the owner’s response, I’m updating this review.

We did not make false statements. The buns we received were soggy and did not seem toasted. If they are supposed to be toasted, that wasn’t reflected in what we were served.

We were not told we had to request napkins or utensils at the drive-thru. When ordering multiple meals, it’s reasonable to expect those basics to be included or at least offered. Blaming customers for not asking doesn’t fix the experience.

Regarding pricing: $60 for a family of five through a drive-thru, with mini meals not including drinks or dessert unless dining in, did not feel like good value. Whether you call it “fast food pricing” or not, customers will naturally compare price to what they receive.

What’s most disappointing is the immediate dismissal of feedback as “false” rather than acknowledging that a customer’s experience can differ from intention. Saying “we simply aren’t your cup of tea” avoids responsibility instead of addressing concerns.

This review reflects our actual experience of food quality, service attitude, missing items, and overall value.

We visit the area a few times a year to camp and are always looking for different places to break up the trip. This is definitely on our return list. Visited for the first time on a Friday. We cam in a side door so it wasn’t clear right off if we sat or ordered at counter but pretty quickly someone acknowledged us. I usually am hesitant to get fried chicken because I’m picky about the breading, flavor etc however I had been told it was great so I took a chance and it was amazing-so juicy it was literally dripping when I broke open the breast piece. Grilled shrimp side was ok. Fries and tots cooked beautifully. The chicken sandwhich should just automatically come with a box -massive! I was pleasantly surprised at the prices and what you get. Portions were very generous. Free refill on the lemonades was appreciated and the ones in our party ended up trying all flavors and liked them equally. Ice cream had enough options to please everyone-again large portion sizes!

I was a bit confused when I was told to skip the tip part on the pay screen. We didn’t want to leave without tipping and since I was planning to pay cash tip anyway I didn’t sweat it but then noticed no one left a tip-gave the tip directly to a woman at the counter and expressed my slight confusion to which she said they discouraged tips, however there is a scholarship fund of some sort. I thought this was great and maybe there was a sign but I did not see it. This is something to be proud of -that you pay your folks a good wage and don’t expect tips.

I took my 13 and 11 year old to have dinner and ice cream. It was pretty busy but they got the orders put fairly quick. Definitely recommended.

EXTREMELY disappointed. We love snowensville but we had ordered $70 worth of food and waited for about an hour. It usually doesn’t even take that long inside which would be fine but when we asked for maybe some form of comp since we had been told ten minutes multiple times, not the ladies fault btw, we got comped two lemonades. That is it. Again, not her fault but I do expect better from the owner when it comes to things like this.
Edit: we wouldn’t have cared if the wait was long if somebody would’ve told us it was long. We had plenty of errands to run while waiting. We aren’t upset that it took 40 minutes, we are upset it took 40 minutes, nobody told us, and we got two lemonades. Definitely lost respect for this place considerably. Again, the lady was amazing. Always is. The communication was terrible and I expect way better from the owner. I had more respect for how he ran his business that is now significantly less.

Great service, friendly staff, so many good food options. I really liked how they had a display screen so you could watch your kids play in the game room from your table. Only thing id ask them to add is customer wifi

Amazing food, even better service! Special mention to Logan, he really seems to care!

Atmosphere is a bit bright and boring inside visually speaking. I think some more mellow lighting would go a long way but that’s the least important aspect of a restaraunt. Keep it up guys! Yall are killing it!
