As we celebrate our 36th anniversary of proudly serving the people of Carlsbad, we would like to take a moment to thank all of our loyal customers for their patronage throughout the years. We are extremely grateful that you have allowed us to serve you. Since we first opened in 1986, we have been purchasing our fresh lean ground beef daily from Lakeside Meats to make our hamburger patties every morning because we want to serve our customers the best old fashioned burger & tacos. Along with our old fashioned burgers, we also serve authentic homemade Mexican Food, including enchilada plates, Asado plates, taco plates and much more. In other words, we believe in doing things the hard way, which means doing it the right way.

Decided to finally try this place. Waited 30 minutes for 2 burgers and fries for $25. At least 8 other people got their orders before us (but I realize they may have called in orders). I got the driest burger I’ve ever had in my life. Bun was hard and crumbly and burger was way overcooked and broke off in chunks. Literally almost inedible and hard to choke down. Asked for extra mayo and you see what I got. No sauces or veggies between top bun and plywood patty. So many good reviews but if this is how they operate, I don’t see how.

Food has no flavor, got the steak finger basket, they’re flavorless and burnt. Fries have no salt. Gravy is watery and again flavorless. Cream on snow-cone has a weird texture. New to the area and thought I would try this place out but I’d probably never come again. Paid 20$ for burnt flavorless food.

We are not from the area but were visiting this past weekend. We wanted to try some local things so my sons and I stopped in for snow cones. I had the pomegranate and have to say it was the best snow cone I’ve ever had! Just the right amount of sweet and tart. Will definitely visit again when in the area!

I’ve come here twice for snowcones! Each time, they were delicious. I tried the cherry limeade, which was pretty sour, and the raspberry cheesecake, which I’d recommend! The snowcones are packed with flavor in every bite! The service for drinks was fast even with a large crowd. Staff are very nice here as well!

I call in orders all the time and they are always quick usually I order a few burgers maybe some chicken strip baskets and it’s always 15-20 minutes. The food is always good. One of my favorite places to get food from. I dont get snow cones often but when I do they are always just as good as the food. And with over 80 flavors I always have something I haven’t had in a while.
