We had the pulled pork nachos. The BBQ sauce was delicious and generous portions! Took pictures after we already dug in but it is delicious! Prices were reasonable also! The waitress was very attentive and it’s really nice inside. Highly recommend and will return again!

The food was good had just the perfect amount of Hickory flavor this is five stars you’re going to get in west plains also the server went on break as soon as I got there as soon as she saw me, she ran inside and made sure I was taken care of first sometimes it’s the little things. This is my second time here first time I had ribs this time. I had fried pickles and pork nachos. It was very good and if you don’t want to be disappointed because you can’t eat it all then bring a friend. Good job guys !!!

Had the smoked turkey sandwich and used the spicy BBQ sauce on it. Was very good. Not enough fries fir my liking, but they were very good. The interior decorating was old barn wood, a very rustic look. The pulled pork was also very tasty. Not too many people there on a Wednesday night. They do close at 7pm and are cash or check only. Very friendly wait staff.

Snider’s Barbecue in delivers a true “Show Me” state comfort experience from the moment you walk in. The rustic, pioneer barn–style ambiance sets the tone perfectly—warm, casual, and full of charm. It feels like a place where time slows down just enough for you to savor every bite.

The star of the show is without question the brisket—tender, smoky, and perfectly seasoned. It strikes that ideal balance of juicy richness and a flavorful bark that shows the pitmaster knows their craft. The barbecue beans might just be the best around—deep, smoky, and slightly sweet with layers of flavor that pair beautifully with the brisket. They taste homemade, like something passed down through generations.

The fried okra deserves its own applause—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned just right. It’s the kind of side you keep reaching for long after you think you’re done.

Adding to the experience, the wait staff makes you feel instantly at home. Our server was talkative, funny, and as friendly as an old neighbor—one of those rare interactions that makes a good meal great.

All in all, Snider’s Barbecue a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic barbecue served with heart.

ONLY place in this area that has decent brisket. The sauces they offer are ALL one of a kind. They have original, smoky, and spicy, I have found that a 50/50 mix of smoky and spicy makes the PERFECT sauce.

Very nice staff, food was delicious with good sized portions. We came at a slow time of day so very quiet. Highly recommend if you’re in the area stopping by.

We stopped by for lunch and we were pleasantly pleased. Not only was the food delicious but it was affordable as well. I had a smoked turkey sandwich with a side salad and it was great! I’m posting the menu here so you can see what is available.

The food was incredible. Huge portions of meat per serving. The pulled pork was so tender and tasty. There were 3 sauces on each table to choose from: Sweet, Smoky and Spicy. I had a pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw on it. Delicious. Bun was toasted and super fresh. Mom had a loaded baked potato which was HUGE. Enough for 3 meals easily. It was drowning in cheese, butter, green onions, sour cream and pulled pork. She ate it with the Spicy sauce and said it was great. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars was because it took so long to get the fried pies we ordered for dessert. Also, mom ordered a peach fried pie, but was given coconut instead. My cherry pie was very tasty. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Overall, a great experience.

Brisket sandwich so fatty it was inedible. Brisket is not a lean cut but this was 90% fat. Only a couple bites of meat, which was good but left me hungry.

The two stars is for the wait staff who were friendly enough. And I’ll start by saying I really don’t like to leave anything less than four stars, but consider this a PSA. The ‘premium’ Mac and cheese was definitely $0.50 Walmart Mac. The brisket was burnt, and I’m not talking delicious bbq burnt ends, tough, dry inedible brisket. The pulled pork was okay, but had a slight plastic taste. And then the sauce, or should I say lack there of. We order to go and were limited to two half full dip cups of sauce. Have you ever been to a bbq restaurant where they limit the sauce? Also, silent restaurant, no music, just silence. What’s with that?
