first time going today and would highly recommend . I got their infamous Chantilly snowball
Only comes in a large size so you can definitely split it with multiple people and it was at a reasonable price. Very flavorful and full of juice (I hate a dry snowball/snow cone )Would highly recommend on a hot summer day like today. Located in the historical downtown Cedar Hill with multiple businesses around it.

Wow. We capped our holiday/wedding anniversary weekend with this nostalgic treat on a whim and they did not disappoint. I had the coconut with heavy cream and it was fluffy and decadent! There was a line and a bit of a wait for the order but we enjoyed hanging out with some friendly locals and their dogs and children while they waited and ordered. There is a comfortable and charming little outdoor seating area on the deck with picnic tables, a giant connect four, rugs and kids’ chairs. All very clean and comfortable for an outdoor space. We will definitely go back.

A Hidden Gem Bringing Real New Orleans Snowball Culture to DFW

If you’ve been craving a real New Orleans-style snowball in the DFW area, SneauxNola is the place to go. From the moment I pulled up, I could tell this wasn’t your average snowball stand — this place brings the true heart and soul of the Crescent City, right down to the flavors, the atmosphere, and the people.

The snowballs? Absolutely phenomenal. Rich, bold flavors, ultra-soft ice, and that perfect syrup-to-ice ratio you can only get when someone really knows what they’re doing. It immediately reminded me of the classics I grew up on — Pandora’s and Rodney’s in New Orleans — and that’s no small compliment. They even have stuffed snowballs, which are incredibly hard to find in North Texas. These are done right: creamy, flavorful centers wrapped in smooth, flavored ice, made with real care.

Beyond the snowballs, they offer up nachos with melted cheese and peppers, giving you just the right salty-savory balance to all that sweet. It’s the kind of snack combo that makes you want to sit back, relax, and stay a while.

The stand itself is friendly and welcoming, with staff that truly treat you like family. And it’s no surprise — the owner is a proud representative of McDonogh #35 Roneagles, bringing not just great flavor but a deep sense of hometown pride to every cup. That New Orleans spirit is alive and well here.

In a metroplex where authentic snowball stands are few and far between, SneauxNola stands tall as a flavorful, nostalgic, and soulful destination. It’s a well-hidden gem that deserves to be found. Five stars all the way — I’ll definitely be back, and next time, I’m bringing everyone I know.

Great Customer Service. First time here. Cute lil stop hidden away. But easy to find. These snowballs are different. The ice is soft. We got tiger blood and grape stuffed with ice cream and cheesecake. And pineapple coconut stuffed with ice cream. There are so many flavors to try. Must try!!!

Authentic New Orleans snow balls. Ice so soft it melts in your mouth. I had the Strawberry Cheesecake with stuffed cheesecake, with Cajun cream. It was great. Also grabbed a praline that was nice and buttery. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to this snowball stand since the very first owner owned it but it was very special this time going because the owners are from my hometown. My family and I pulled up to a Mardi Gras colored building and it immediately felt like I was home. I got a medium strawberry snowball with nachos and my family also got medium snowballs in other flavors. The ice was so soft and just how I remembered it from some of my favorite snowball shops in Nola. My family will be back again and again.

Sneaux Nola! Come to the front of the line! I’ve been in Texas for 20 yrs and this is the 1st time I’ve ever had a snowball that tastes just like a snowball from NOLA!!!! My favorite flavors are wedding cake and peach or strawberry mixed. Sis, you are doing your big one with this. Oh!!! Wait! They also have the creamiest praline candies ever! They are right up there with Bernard’s praline (IYKYK)! This is a little hidden gem in downtown old Cedar Hill, right off of Beltline and highway 67. I WILL be going back, soon.
